Jamie Dornan recently returned to Instagram and he has been a sight for sore eyes. On April 3, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor shared a photo of himself covered in blue paint with the caption, “Self isolation made me do it.” Since then, he’s been sharing other transmissions from life in quarantine including a photo of himself playing Twister and a video of himself looking at noises. Yes, random noises.
Over the weekend, the actor shared his greatest social media post to date, a photo of himself sporting a blue wig, a red dress, and a pair of green high heels. He also dons a defeated expression that says it all.
Dornan is leaning into the absurdity of the moment.
“Dressing up with my daughters took a turn,” Dornan captioned the photo. “Meet Jenny (with the blue hair). She’s sweet.”
What a transformation! Jenny makes quite the impression. Friends and fans of the Irish actor were dazzled and many decided to leave him so love in the comments.
“Lovely rack mate,” English model, Poppy Delvigne wrote.
“‘Dressing up with my daughters’ = I have heels in my size and was looking for an excuse to feel like a fierce [b***h],” actor Armie Hammer wrote.
To which Dornan replied, “Millie has big feet!” a reference to his wife, Amelia ‘Millie’ Warner.
It’s clear his return to Instagram has been warmly welcomed.
In March 2019, Dornan and Warner welcomed their third child and she joined sisters Dulcie Dornan, 5, and Elva Dornan, 3. The couple has not shared their youngest’s name with the public.
“So proud of these three glorious girls, it’s an [honor] being their mummy,” Warner wrote to celebrate Mother’s Day in the UK. “Feeling incredibly lucky today #happymothersday.”

After announcing that his wife of nearly eight years was expecting, Dornan opened up about his growing brood during his visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying, “Part of me feels like [I need] to put a cork in it after this. But then alternatively, I feel like we make really great kids. I may just—if my wife’s willing—do it until we can’t do it anymore.”
We wonder if anything’s changed since then???
We love a dad who’s a great sport and judging from Dornan’s comment and attire, he’s down for whatever his daughters have planned for him next. Social distancing is making us all feel a bit strange and we’re turning to the internet more and more for socializing. We hope that Dornan continues to keep it weird.
