Jana Kramer Shares This One Dating Rule She Has With Ex Mike Caussin

Jana Kramer and her ex Mike Caussin have agreed to this one dating rule when it comes to dating…

During a recent interview with Us Weekly, the One Tree Hill alum revealed that she and Mike have agreed to not introduce their two kidsJolie, 5, and son Jace, 2, to “random people.”

“I won’t want to meet someone’s kids or introduce my kids to anyone until we’re in a serious relationship,” Jana stated on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

“I think it’s important to really, like, be solid in the relationship. Mike and I are really good with that. We’ve been [keeping an] eye on that. It needs to be, like, something serious.”

She also said of her ex-husband, “He’s a great dad. He knows I’m a good mom.”

However, the singer did admit it was an odd feeling running into her ex-husband during a recent night out alongside Jay Cutler.

On her most recent Whine Down podcast, the 37-year-old admitted it felt weird to watch her 34-year-old ex-husband flirt with other women when they ran into each other at a bar opening in Nashville earlier this month.

“I will say that was really hard to see him there — seeing him flirt with other girls,” the mom said. “I mean, granted, I was there as well doing my thang, but that was really hard.”

“You know what was hard? It looked so easy for him,” she admitted. “He didn’t look like it bothered him one second. And that hurt, because I was like, ‘He’s untamed, he’s uncaged and he’s happy.’ “

And at one point, where Kramer and Cutler were photographed together for the first time, the singer said that she and her ex spoke, but Caussin’s reaction was different from hers.

“I was like, ‘This is awkward!’ And he’s like ‘Not at all!’ ” she said on her podcast “Like, I’m glad that he was fine with it. But at the same time — I talked to my therapist about it and was kind of like ‘Just a little piece of me was kind of like, it would have been nice to be like, ‘Yeah this is hard but I’m glad we can be cordial.’ That’s just acknowledgment that it might hurt a little. But I don’t know.”
