On October 17, the Daily Mail published an interview with a woman claiming to be the former nanny of actors Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde.
Wilde and Sudeikis were engaged for several years and share two children together, Otis and Daisy. The couple ultimately ended their relationship in 2020 and now an unidentified woman, who claims to be the ex-couple’s former nanny, is sharing intimate details about their break up.

The woman told the Daily Mail that Wilde and Sudeikis fired her without severance pay after working for them for three years. Now, the former couple is speaking out.
In a joint statement obtained by E! News, Wilde and Sudeikis said, “As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.” The actors then accused the nanny of launching an ”18-month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues.”

Now they say the harassment has “reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.”
During her interview with the Daily Mail, the nanny claimed Sudeikis learned about Wilde’s alleged affair by finding text messages between Wilde and Harry Styles on an Apple Watch left at their house. The alleged nanny also claimed that Sudeikis once laid under Wilde’s car to prevent her from leaving during an argument.
Despite the nanny’s claims, Wilde has refuted the idea that she broke off her relationship with Sudeikis for Harry Styles. While talking with Vanity Fair, Wilde said, “The complete horses–t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry.”
Wilde continued to say that their relationship ended at the start of the pandemic but made the decision to continue to live together so that they could co-parent their children through that time. But, Wilde said, “Once it became clear that cohabitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses.”
The nanny claimed that she felt for Jason through their breakup. “He started telling me details [of her relationship with Styles] and he said ‘she put the move on him. She put the first move on him.’ She kissed him at one of the dinners they had for the cast in Palm Springs. She did that,” the nanny claimed.
It’s unclear if Harry and Olivia are still together. The only party in this situation who has yet to issue a statement is Harry, himself. It’s unclear if he ever will.
