Former stars of Counting On, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, spent Christmas apart from the rest of the Duggar family, fueling rumors that the couple is not on good terms with the Duggar clan. Jill and Derick no longer appear on Counting On after they had an apparent falling out with the Duggar patriarch, Jim Bob.
The couple didn’t appear in any of the family’s videos or posts about Christmas and it seems they were not invited for Christmas this year.

Jessa Duggar has ramped up her video blogging on YouTube recently, and she documented the Duggar Christmas this year. We’ve combed through the footage and Jill Duggar is nowhere to be found. Although Jill and Derick were included in the gift exchange, they weren’t part of the actual Christmas activities.
Considering that Jill and Derick skipped out on the Duggar Thanksgiving celebration, it’s no surprise that they’d miss Christmas as well.
Jill and Derick spent Thanksgiving with friends instead of the family last month. Jill posted about it saying, “We had a wonderful Friendsgiving yesterday!”
Friendsgivings are a great alternative, we agree, but we want to know why.
Derick confirmed in a comment that he and Jill were celebrating Christmas with their immediate family and not with the other Duggars.
When asked if Derick spent Christmas with members of the extended Duggar family, Derick replied, “We had our own little Christmas, and some international friends joined us.”
That confirmed their absence but didn’t explain why. Perhaps rumors of a feud are true.

The photos of Derick, Jill, and their children are cute and we hope they enjoyed their small gathering. It appears that they went to church and then opened gifts together at home.
We might not know if there is a continuing feud but Jill and Derick have skipped out on two big holidays with the rest of the family.
Jill and Derick are no longer on Counting On. They have skipped a couple of major holidays and instead had small celebrations with friends and their kids. We don’t know why, but Derick hasn’t been shy about criticizing Jim Bob and TLC in the past.
Hopefully, 2020 will bring some answers about why this faction of the Duggar clan seems to be shut out.
