Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard are making an exciting announcement. And their fans couldn’t be more excited for them!

Jill Duggar Dillard Makes the Exciting Announcement Her Fans Have Been Waiting For

“Ever since we were devastated last fall by the miscarriage of our sweet baby, River Bliss, we have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby,” the couple shared in their statement. “We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022!”

“We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far and we look forward to finding out the gender soon,” they concluded. Revealing that they are due in July means Jill is roughly five months along.

Jill and Derick Dillard are currently parents to two boys, Israel and Samuel. Thousands of fans, including Jill’s cousin, Amy Duggar King, have issued their congratulations already.

“What a sweet picture,” Amy wrote. “Couldn’t be happier for y’all!!”

Their exciting announcement is a bright light amidst dark times for the Duggar family. It also comes just weeks after they received a ruling to their pursuit of justice against the people who released the police report revealing the sex abuse Jill and some of her sisters suffered at the hands of their older brother, convicted sex offender, Josh Duggar.

“The Judge has made it crystal clear that the reports were illegally released. This should have never happened, and we hope this never happens again to anyone,” they wrote in their statement. “It is what compelled Derick to change careers and pursue law school in the first place, and we will continue to fight for victims’ rights.”

“In the pursuit of justice, the impact on victims, especially child sex victims, should not be an afterthought, and they should not be relegated to collateral damage. Victims need to be supported and protected, not hung out to dry simply because the end justifies the means. They have been blamed, shamed, and bullied into silence for too long, so why are we surprised that perpetrators continue to be emboldened while victims are punished for their voice. This needs to change, and only then can victims become survivors.”

Other members of the Duggar family have not yet reacted to Jill and Derick’s exciting announcement. Jill and Derick have separated themselves quite a bit from the Duggar crew over the last couple of years.
