Ten months after issuing an apology to his then-pregnant ex-wife, Jimmie Allen has seemingly revealed he quietly welcomed a set of twins into his life.
On Instagram, the country music star took to his Story to share photos of all SIX of his kids, yes six. While fans are aware of his oldest son Aadyn, whom he shares with a previous relationship prior to marrying Alexis Allen, and of the three children he shares with Alexis; Zara, Naomi, and Cohen, people were stunned when Jimmie also shared a photo of his twins.
According to People, Aria and Amari are 9 months old, meaning he welcomed the twins shortly after separating from Alexis over claims of infidelity. Not much else is known publicly about their birth.
Jimmie Allen then also shared a brief statement saying he is proud of all of his children and will only ever care about their opinion of him.
“I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is there,” Jimmie wrote along with the yellow heart emoji.
In May 2023, Jimmie Allen publicly apologized to his wife after admitting to cheating on her. At the time, Alexis Allen was pregnant with their third child together. She later gave birth to their son, Cohen, on October 2023.
After erasing every photo of himself with Alexis, Jimmie shared his apology on Instagram.
“I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all. I also want to apologize to my children for being a poor example of a man and a father. I’m working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of. My goal is to be better than the generation before me. This business takes so much from you. It’s full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you’ve built. I’m ashamed that I wasn’t strong enough to withstand them. I will no longer be a victim of my weaknesses.”
Several weeks after Jimmie Allen announced that he and his pregnant wife Alexis Gale were getting a divorce, the country music singer has been accused of assault and sexual abuse by his former manager.
In a lawsuit filed by the woman, People reports that she listed “several instances where Allen allegedly forced himself onto her and abused her over the course of 18 months.” Now people are wondering if Allen’s estranged wife’s cryptic Instagram post was about the allegations against him.
On her Instagram story, Gale said, “continue the chaos while I heal in peace.”
As the lawsuit describes, Jane Doe claims Allen raped her during a work trip in March 2021 when Allen was filming an episode of American Idol. Doe alleged that she “woke up naked in her hotel room with severe pain and vaginal bleeding after participating in a business meeting.”
Doe continues to allege that Allen insisted she takes a Plan B pill. Two months later, Doe claimed that Allen abused her again while on another work trip in May 2021 as the singer appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his children’s book.
In a statement to People, Allen addressed Jane Doe’s allegations by admitting to an affair and claiming the sexual interactions between himself and Doe was “consensual.”
“It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues, and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever,” Allen said in the statement.
“I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship — one that lasted for nearly two years. During that time she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely.”
Allen added, “Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives. The simple fact is, her accusations are not only false but also extremely damaging. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my career, and I intend to mount a vigorous defense to her claims and take all other legal action necessary to protect my reputation.”
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, despite being pregnant with their third child, Allen and Gale also issued a joint statement weeks earlier announcing their decision to separate.
“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex and I have made the decision to separate,” the statement began. Allen and Gale then shared another bit of news as well.
“As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy, and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another. In light of our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.”
Both Gale and Allen turned their comments off their posts.
While neither parent has spoken publicly about their impending divorce since Alexis took to her Instagram Story to share a cryptic message before unfollowing her estranged husband on Instagram.
“The silence is loud enough for me,” she wrote.
The news of their pregnancy comes as a surprise for some of their fans as Jimmie revealed last year that he and Alexis don’t plan on growing their family anymore. “We threw around the idea of maybe having another one in like four years, we thought about it, we tossed around the idea. And then we closed the idea,” he told ET, adding that they feel “outnumbered.”
Jimmie and Alexis first met in 2019. They were first introduced to each other through the singer’s cousin. Alexis was preparing to graduate from nursing school at the time.
In an interview with People about the first time they met, Alexis said, Allen “took the time, right before he went on tour, to study with me even though he had no idea what he was doing. And it made me realize — this is someone who really cares about me, who cares about my future even though he’s still working on his.”
From there, their romance was a bit of a whirlwind. “It just happened so fast and we just went full-in all emotions. I have so much love for him, so much respect. I admire who he is to me and to everybody around him.”
