The family of Joshua ‘J.J.’ Vallow is speaking out after learning that children’s remains were found on Chad Daybell‘s Idaho property. Daybell was 7-year-old J.J. and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan‘s stepfather after he married their mother Lori Vallow.

Now Vallow and Daybell are in jail on $1 million bonds for their suspected deaths. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Tylee and J.J. have been missing since September 2019. However, they were never reported until family members requested that local law enforcement do a welfare check.

Now that family is speaking out following law enforcement recent discovery. The family is also confirming that the bodies discovered on the property did belong with J.J. and Tylee. Tylee’s older brother also confirmed that information.

In an interview with Fox 13, J.J.’s grandparents, Larry and Kay Woodstock stood at the scene where his and his sister’s remains were found. “That’s the scene where J.J. was,” Larry said. “My little man.”

When the children were nowhere to be found, police question Vallow, who reportedly claimed that J.J. was with family in Arizona, but made no mention of Tylee. She later stopped cooperating with police when it came to her children’s whereabouts.

It was after J.J. and Tylee’s disappearance that Vallow, who believes she is the reincarnation of God, married Daybell “a religious author who writes about prophecy and the end of the world.” Their decision to wed also took place just two weeks after Daybell’s late wife died suspiciously.

Now, Vallow is in jail and has been charged with felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children, as well as resisting or obstructing officers, criminal solicitation to commit a crime, contempt of court, and willful disobedience of court process or order for failing to produce the two kids.

Daybell is the suspect in both his late wife’s death investigation, as well as J.J.’s and Tylee’s. He has been charged with two counts of destruction, alteration, and concealment of evidence. That could change pending the investigation into his first wife’s passing.

Vallow pleaded not guilty while Daybell has yet to enter a plea. Larry Woodstock also told Fox 13 that he would like to meet Daybell’s family one day.

“I’m not coming in hostility in any way. “I come with trying to be the peacemaker, and that’s all I want. I just want to be a peacemaker. Let’s all get along here.” And when asked who he thought was behind J.J. and Tylee’s death, he told Fox 13 that “he wasn’t thinking right now about who is behind this, and that he would let the justice system take care of that.”
