During the interview, Jon Bon Jovi was asked if he thinks Jake is too young to be engaged. Speaking from experience, Bon Jovi explained that age is nothing more than a number when you’ve found the one you want to spend the rest of your life with – adding that he married his high school sweetheart in 1989.

“I don’t know if age matters, you know, if you find the right partner and you grow together,” Bon Jovi said to Cohen. “I think that would be my advice, really. Growing together is wise,” he continued – adding he thinks ‘all my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.’

Bon Jovi also shared his thoughts on his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Not only did he confirm that he has watched her hit show, Stranger Things, but he described the 19-year-old actress as a ‘wonderful’ person. “Millie’s wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy,” he said of their relationship.

Jon Bon Jovi Will Soon Have Two Daughter-in-Laws

Jake Bongiovi isn’t the only son of Jon Bon Jovi to get engaged recently. His engagement to Millie Bobby Brown comes eight months after his older brother, Jesse Bongiovi, who turned 28 in February, popped the big question and asked his now-fiancé, Jesse Light, who turned 27 in February, to marry him.

The proposal happened back in August at their home in East Hampton – surrounded by family and friends. They then celebrated the exciting news at Surf Lodge in Montauk, which is where the couple initially met back in 2018. Now four years later, the couple are engaged and are dog parents to Bella.
