After Jon Gosselin posted another photo on his Instagram showing son Collin helping him pick out a Christmas tree, fans quickly took to Jon’s ex-wife’s Instagram account to tell her about it.
On November 25, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Jon shared a photo of him, two of his children, Hannah and Collin, his girlfriend Colleen, and her two children, Jordan and Jesse.

The group was at a Pennsylvania tree farm picking out their Christmas tree for this year.
Jon captioned the photo:
Found our tree ? let the holidays begin!!!!
Nearly seven months ago, Kate posted a photo of five of their six sextuplets celebrating their 14th birthday.
As Dearly previously reported, Collin was excluded from the photo and people questioned why the teenager couldn’t at least celebrate is birthday with his siblings:
Did you visit Collin?
Are all the kids living at home? I read that you put one of the boys in a disability home. Just hoping all the kids were together for their birthday.
I Hope Collin was there to with his wonderful family?!!!
Now people are questioning why Kate doesn’t post photos of her visits with Collin, and as a result, they are also wondering if Kate visits her son at all.
Some commenters wrote:
Omg! Collin looks so happy in the picture his father posted. If he looks that happy, getting away from home was probably the best thing that ever happened to him. Maybe in the end, he will be the lucky one.
…I just wonder why she never speaks about Colin…
How come Jon has Colin and you never do but you never show pictures of you with him why because he’s not perfect.
However, many jumped to Kate’s defense claiming Jon only shares photos to make Kate look bad and that the mom of eight just isn’t that “showy”:
Jon posts pictures so people praise him and kate doesn’t because she’s not super showy, she doesn’t even post pictures of her kids very often.
Collin’s visits with Jon have become more frequent since that first photo the dad posted of him back in May:
As Dearly previously reported, Collin was institutionalized in 2016 for special needs.
Kate told People in an interview that it was something that had “been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve felt very alone in this.”
Us Weekly reported in October that Jon has since filed for full legal and physical custody of Collin, believing that it is in his son’s best interest.
A source close to Jon reportedly told Us Weekly:
“Collin is very intelligent. He was always questioning Kate and talking back. Kate doesn’t like that.”
It’s unclear where the former couple is in their custody battle.
