The bun in the oven is just about done baking! Joy-Anna Duggar is due to give birth any minute now and she posted a photo that proves it.
On Wednesday, Joy celebrated her due date of August 19 by sharing a fresh baby bump photo on Instagram, featuring her son, Gideon, 2, who’s about to become a big brother for the first time.
In an update for friends, family, and fans, Joy-Anna Duggar shared a new photo on her due date.
Joy, who’s expecting a little girl, looks radiant in a series of photos she shared to celebrate her due date. The cute images capture her happiness and anticipation for Gideon to become a big brother.
“Happy due date, baby!” the reality star wrote. “We are just here impatiently awaiting your arrival! Meanwhile, your brother thinks my bump makes the perfect chair!”
This is the second pregnancy update from Joy in the last few days.
Less than a week before sharing the due date photos, she shared images of her and her husband, Austin Forsyth on a stroll. She captioned the sunny photos, “Anyday now, baby girl.”
What thrilling stuff! Just wow.
And guess what? Before that, she was still… waiting.
“Yes… we’re still waiting for this baby girl‘s arrival!” Those last few days can be intense. We know it can be tough not knowing when the moment will come.
It hasn’t all been posts from Joy about waiting. Now, she’s also shared how she has prepared her home for her daughter’s homecoming. She even had a little help from her sisters.
Jana and Jessa Duggar swung by and helped Joy prepare and decorate the nursery.
It’s not easy preparing for a newborn and caring for a toddler. Luckily for Joy, her sisters were there for her and helped make the nursery, which Gideon will share a functional space for her growing family.
“Thank you, to my sisters for all your help,” Joy said in the video as she revealed the “final product.”
“They made my dreams become a reality,” she explained. “I am in love with it.”
She’s all ready for that rainbow baby and fans will just have to play the waiting game with her.
June marked the one year anniversary of her miscarriage. She shared a heartfelt post, a tragic image from the time to memorialize the moment. She wrote, “It’s been a year since we found out that we lost Annabell.
I remember leaving our ultrasound appointment, sobbing and wondering how we were ever going to move forward, and so fearful of having to deliver her.”
“It hurts to look back at these pictures and remember the pain and heartbreak, but when I do look back I am so thankful for how far we’ve come,” she continued.
