Donald Trump Reprimanded In Court 8 Months After Jury Found Him Liable of Sexual Assault Against Writer E. Jean Carroll

A new photo of Trump has people concerned, but according to his camp, no one needs to worry.

Speculations rose after photos of Trump waving to cameras on Thursday moments revealed red spots on his hand. Spots some people thought were blisters, among other things.

However, in a statement offered to TMZ, the marks on Trump’s hand were spots of blood. The blood came from nothing more than a paper cut, a gnarly one at that.

And though people are claiming that explanation seems clear fetched, a photo captured later in the day show the same hand to be clear of any spots.

UPDATE: Eight months after being found liable of sexual assault, former President Donald Trump is back in court.

During the defamation damages trial, the judge presiding over the case reprimanded Trump and threatened to throw him out of the courtroom after complaining loudly several times during E. Jean Carroll’s testimony. Trump repeatedly shook his head in anger and made comments to his lawyer throughout Carroll’s testimony.

As reported, while sharing her testimony, Carroll told the jury that, “I am here because Donald Trump assaulted me, and when I wrote about it he lied and he shattered my reputation.” However, as she continued, Trump would aggressively shake his head and could be heard loudly talking with his attorney, calling Carroll a liar, making quips about her memory, and calling the judge a “nasty guy.”

“Mr. Trump has the right to be present here. That right can be forfeited, and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive and if he disregards court orders,” U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan told Trump and his attorney after the jury had left. “Mr. Trump, I hope I don’t have to consider excluding you from the trial. I understand you are very eager for me to do that.”

Trump was quick to respond to the Judge’s reprimand, saying, “I would love it. I would love it.”

“I know you would because you just can’t control yourself in this circumstance. You just can’t,” the judge added as Trump threw his hands in the air.

After being dismissed for lunch, Trump turned to his social media platform, Truth Social, to attack Judge Kaplan calling Kaplan a “seething and hostile Clinton-appointed Judge.” And added that Kaplan is “abusive, rude, and obviously not impartial but, that’s the way this crooked system works!”

Eight months ago, a United States jury came to a conclusion in the civil case between E. Jean Carroll and former President Donald J. Trump.

According to new reports, after only 3 hours of deliberation, the jury has decided that Donald J. Trump is liable for sexual abuse and defamation against E. Jean Carroll, a magazine writer, in the 1990s. She will be awarded $5 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Since Carroll first came forward with her story, Trump has publicly denied the claim that he “raped her in a dressing room of the Bergdorf Goodman department store in the mid-1990s.”

The jury was made up of six men and three women.

Trump has since responded to the verdict, though he was not in the courtroom. In all capital letters, Trump wrote, “THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS,” Trump subsequently posted. “THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Carroll filed the lawsuit against Trump accusing him of sexual abuse just days after his youngest daughter got married.

The former Elle advice columnist and television host filed the civil lawsuit against Trump in New York. In the lawsuit, as People reports, Carroll alleges battery and defamation under New York’s Adult Survivors Act.

As Carroll claims, “roughly 27 years ago, playful banter at the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue in New York City took a dark turn when Defendant Donald J. Trump seized Plaintiff E. Jean Carroll, forced her up against a dressing room wall, pinned her in place with his shoulder, and raped her.”

Carroll also addressed her reason for staying silent about her experience with Trump, saying, she “feared of being buried in ‘threats and lawsuits’ and damage to her reputation and livelihood.” People continues to report that Carroll says the alleged incident caused her “significant pain and suffering,” and left her “severely injured” with “lasting psychological harms, loss of dignity, and invasion of her privacy.”

In the lawsuit, Carroll seeks “redress for her injuries and to demonstrate that even a man as powerful as Trump can be held accountable under the law.”

Carroll’s attorney offered a statement on behalf of her client to People, saying, she “intends to hold Donald Trump accountable not only for defaming her, but also for sexually assaulting her, which he did years ago in a dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman.”

“Thanksgiving Day was the very first day Ms. Carroll could file under New York law so our complaint was filed with the court shortly after midnight.”

Trump’s attorney has also responded with a statement given to the AP, at the time. “While I respect and admire individuals that come forward, this case is unfortunately an abuse of the purpose of this Act which creates a terrible precedent and runs the risk of delegitimizing the credibility of actual victims.”

In 2019, Trump denied Carroll’s claims saying, “No. 1: She’s not my type” and, further, that he had “never met this person in my life.” According to People, Carroll and Trump have been photographed together.
