Teen Mom Star Kailyn Lowry Makes Shocking Announcement

Kailyn Lowry is sharing the emotional moment she and her five boys learned of the sexes of their soon-to-be twin siblings.

And as fate would have it, Kailyn Lowry is getting her first daughter. In a video showing her sons kicking breakable soccer balls filled with either blue or pink powder inside, Lowry and her sons finally got their wish.

One of the twins is a boy, the other, a baby girl. Her sons were overcome with emotion after learning they were finally getting a sister.

“Teen Mom” star Kailyn Lowry is a mom to five boys, 13-year-old Isaac, 9-year-old Lincoln, 6-year-old Lux, 3-year-old Creed, and her youngest Rio, who was born in 2022.

In fact, it was only recently that her fans learned about the birth of her fifth child after she made the decision to keep the special news to herself. “I wanted to be able to tell my own story on my own terms and kind of share what information I wanted to share instead of being within a contractual obligation or storyline,” Kailyn explained to People.

However, Kailyn has opened up more about the arrival of her fifth child after sharing she is now pregnant with her sixth and seventh child. “I’m about to have seven kids.”

On her podcast Barley Famous, Kailyn announced that she and her boyfriend are pregnant with twins. “I feel like it was ripped out from under me time and time again,” Lowry explained as for why she kept her fifth pregnancy a secret and not this one.

“I kind of feel like my hands are tied. People are announcing it for me and so, at this point, I might as well just talk about it.”

This will be Kailyn and Elijah Scott’s second and third child together. It’s unclear if Kailyn plans to announce the genders of her twins.

While talking with TikToker Allison Kuch on her podcast, who is also pregnant, the friends reminisced about their vacation to Thailand, when they both learned they were pregnant. “I guess we both came home with permanent souvenirs,” Kailyn joked.

“I must have got pregnant right before I left and I had no idea. So when I got there, I was eating everything. My face was flushed, but like, I didn’t think anything of it because I was like, ‘There’s just no way, like, there’s no way I am.’”

Kailyn Lowry Accidentally Left ‘Toys’ on Her Kitchen Counter – Her 13-Year-Old Son’s Reaction Will Make You Laugh!

Kailyn Lowry, who rose to fame on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, is opening up about a funny encounter she had with her 13-year-old son recently. As many reality TV stars and celebrities do, she took to her social media account to promote a sex toy and hook her followers up with a discount. 

“I’m hooking you ALL up with vibes! And…free vibes for LIFE if you find a Bellesa Golden Ticket in your order!” she wrote in the caption – adding a photo of her holding the sex toy by Bellesa. After she was done taking the photo, she set the sex toy on her kitchen counter with the intention of putting it away. 

Unfortunately, things don’t always go as planned and she forgot to put the sex toys away, leaving them out in the open where her children could find them – and that’s exactly what happened. Later that day, her 13-year-old son, Isaac, stumbled upon the sex toys and wasn’t about to let his mother get away with it.

“They’re sex toys, and Isaac is not dumb. So he saw the sex toys in a box on the counter, and I woke up to a Post-It note on my door,” Kailyn Lowry said on the Coffee Convos podcast with Lindsie Chrisley. On the Post-It note, Isaac asked Kailyn to ‘put your keychains away and don’t leave them on the counter.’

Isaac didn’t stop there and left a second note on a separate door. “On the next door, the next [note] said, ‘Use a condom before you end up with yet another kid'” – referencing the fact that she has five children with four different fathers. I guess that’s what they mean when they say ‘kids say the darndest things.’

Kailyn Lowry first rose to fame on 16 and Pregnant when she was pregnant with her 13-year-old son, Isaac, at just 17 years old – she shares Isaac with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera. Four years later, she welcomed another son – 9-year-old Lincoln – with her then-husband Javi Marroquin (the couple divorced in 2017). 

Four more years later, Kailyn continued to grow her family with two sons – Lux, 5, and Creed, 2 – with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez. She most recently welcomed her fifth child with current boyfriend Elijah Scott, but a name hasn’t been revealed yet and they kept the pregnancy and birth as private as possible. 

Kailyn Lowry Considering a Return to Reality TV

Kailyn Lowry has been away from reality TV since announcing her departure from Teen Mom 2 in May 2022. She explained her reasoning for leaving while on Coffee Convos and cited a desire to make a name for herself outside of TV – she ‘wanted to be recognized for something other than Teen Mom.’

She went on to explain how difficult it was for some people to accept her ‘for anything other than being a teen mom’ – ultimately creating quite the challenge as she tried to rewrite her reputation in the industry. And while she thought about giving up on reality TV for good, she might be open to a return in the future. 

“I do think that I have proved that I have the capability to be on a reality show and be interesting enough for people to watch. I think people would be very interested to see the dynamic behind the scenes of podcasting, especially when it is really saturated and people don’t like each other,” Kailyn Lowry said.

She likened reality television to podcasting in that you ‘either have it or you don’t’ – adding she thinks she has what it takes. It’s something to look forward to for those that are a fan of Kailyn Lowry and her life as a mother of five, but she doesn’t have anything in the works and it’s unclear if that’s going to change anytime soon.
