Kaley Cuoco Offers To Purchase Horse Punched By Coach At Tokyo Olympics

Kaley Cuoco is speaking out against the disgraced coach who punched a horse, including purchasing the animal herself to provide the horse with a better life.

The disturbing incident was caught on camera during the equestrian competition at the Tokyo Olympics last week.

During the modern pentathlon event, a coach was seen hitting the horse Saint Boy with her fist.

In a since-expired Instagram story, she shared her thoughts. Cuoco commented on the incident, calling it a “disgrace” in her post.

“This is not Olympic show jumping. This is a disgusting, classless, abusive representation of our sport in so many ways. This team should be ashamed of themselves.”

Cuoco captioned photos of the rider, Annika Schleu of Germany, who was crying as she fought to get the horse to jump. Cuoco fired shots at the coach, who was eventually disqualified after the abuse was caught on camera.

She scored zero points when Saint Boy refused to jump. She was then captured cantering around the course crying. She would go on to finish in 31st place in a field of 36.

Pentathletes do not bring their own horses to the jumping section but are randomly assigned one of 18 horses.

Schleu was having “an absolute real-life nightmare,” according to the commentator.

“You make us look bad,” she wrote. “Shame on you and godspeed to any animal that comes in contact with you.”

Cuoco has been riding horses since she was just 15-years-old.

“This rider and her ‘trainer’ are a disgrace,” she went on, revealing how she herself would purchase Saint Boy. “Name your price.”

This past weekend, the group that oversees the pentathlon event released a statement that the coach had since been banned from the remainder of the Olympic events.

“The UIPM Executive Board (EB) has given a black card to the Germany team coach Kim Raisner, disqualifying her from the remainder of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The EB reviewed video footage that showed Ms Raisner appearing to strike the horse Saint Boy, ridden by Annika Schleu (GER), with her fist during the Riding discipline of the Women’s Modern Pentathlon competition. Her actions were deemed to be in violation of the UIPM competition rules, which are applied to all recognized modern pentathlon competitions, including the Olympic Games.
