Just six days after publicly announcing that she was expecting, Kara Keough Bosworth has revealed that the newest member of their family is now earthside. In an Instagram post, the mom revealed that Vaughn Mack Bosworth was actually already born when she had made the announcement publicly.
Born on March 31, Bosworth wrote that Vaughn is “20.5 inches and 7 pounds 6 ounces of heaven-sent sweetness.”

Bosworth wrote while announcing Vaughn’s birth, “The day McCoy was born, I started writing a story. Our story. I don’t typically like to spoil the ending, but in this case, the ending is a new beginning. Introducing Decker and McCoy’s baby brother.”
And as the mom also revealed, Vaughn was born just six days “before what should have been his big brother’s 1st birthday,” which Bosworth remember with an Instagram post that described the day he was born and what she wishes she would have been able to learn about him.
But now they have Vaughn to remind them every single day that a “little hope” goes a long way. “It’s not lost on us that if we hadn’t lost Mack, we’d never know Vaughn,” Bosworth concluded. “And yet, here he is, an unexpected serendipity. A little hope.”
“Tears of Joy! I know McCoy was there for you all every step of the way! Decker’s smiles say it all! She is ONE proud big sister x2! Love your family! Welcome to the world, Vaughn Mack,” one commenter wrote.
“Overwhelming gratitude for this bundle of love to fill your hearts,” another said. “Omg omg omg!!! This is amazing!! I’m crying!! Congratulations you guys! Soooo happy for you! God is Good,” a third commenter added.
So sweet! Congratulations to the Bosworth family!
