My how the time flies! Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise celebrated Suri’s 14th birthday over the weekend. Can you believe that Suri is already 14? It seems just like yesterday that Dawson’s Creek star and Tom Cruise welcomed the little girl. Fortunately, Tom is out of the picture.
Alas, Holmes shared a rare photo of her daughter on social media for the special day and it looks like the mother-daughter duo is feeling rosy.
Katie Holmes shared a picture of the birthday girl on Instagram.
Holmes is very conscious of how she and her daughter are mediated and instead of showing Suri’s face, took a picture of the back of her head. She’s wearing a lovely flower crown. Holmes shared the photo along with the caption, “Birthday vibes.”
We’re vibing Ms. Holmes!
In addition to the floral crown, Holmes also shared a photo of a flowery birthday banner.
We assume Suri really likes flowers. In addition to the rose crown, Holmes also shared a photo of a Happy Birthday banner that also featured some flora.
“Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!!!!!,” Holmes wrote in the caption. “I am so blessed to be your mom. May this year be incredible!”
Fans of Katie Holmes were elated with the birthday posts.
Comments from fans and friends poured in and everyone shared their birthday wishes. Many were in disbelief that Suri was already 14-years-old.
“I remember when she was so small! Can’t believe how grown up she is! Happy birthday,” one person commented.
“14 years old?!?!? Wow that went by quick! Happy Birthday beautiful girl,” another wrote.
She has been sharing photos and videos from the arts and crafts the pair have been working on while at home.
Holmes really knows how to stick to a theme. She’s posted a few videos and pictures of the projects that she and Suri have been working on at home. There have been multiple paintings, many of which, are of flowers.
The pair also bedazzled Easter eggs a couple of weekends ago.
Happy Birthday, Suri! Keep up the crafting.
We respect Holmes’s choice to not share her daughter’s image often. However, that doesn’t mean we weren’t thrilled to see the back of Suri’s head! We wish Suri a Happy Birthday and hope she and her mother are staying happy and healthy while social distancing.
