Keke Palmer Shares First Images of First Child With Boyfriend Darius Jackson: “Welcome to the World Baby Leo”

Keke Palmer has only been a mother for a few days, but she’s already showing the world – and her new son, who she named Leodis Andrellton Jackson – how much fun she’s going to be as a parent. The fun-loving actress and singer welcomed her baby boy with boyfriend, Darius Jackson, on February 25.

Palmer posted a series of photos and videos to her Instagram account just 48 hours after the baby was born, starting the caption off with an exciting, “Hey Son!!!!” There were six total slides to the post and she offered a brief caption for each one – including the first photo, where she and Jackson were wide-eyed.

“Only 48hrs of being parents! ????” she explained of the wide-eyed look. The second slide was of her singing ‘Someone’ by El Debarge in the car with Jackson and baby Leo. She explained how Jackson always made playlists for her when they first started dating and that song has always been a favorite.

And for those that were hoping to see a picture of the baby’s face, don’t worry – the fifth and sixth slides have exactly that! The adorable baby boy already has a head full of hair as he lays next to his stuffed animal in one photo and appears to be all wrapped up in the second photo – he looks so peaceful!

“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match ????! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo,” she concluded in the caption. It’s the moment everyone has been waiting for since she announced her pregnancy on December 3rd while hosting Saturday Night Live.

“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” said Keke Palmer during the opening monologue. “This has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited, guys — I’m going to be a mom.”
