Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finalized their divorce.
Terms for the settlement have Clarkson, 39, set to pay her ex a sizable one-time payment of over $1.3 million as well as child support each month of $45,601 for their two children, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the support payments had already begun in February.
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock Agreed on Joint Custody of Their Children and Where They Will Live.

The former couple agreed on joint custody of their children but they will be living primarily with Clarkson in her Los Angeles home.
Another stipulation, and a strange sign of the times, mandates that both of the children be vaccinated against COVID-19 because of the travel that’s expected between the “Since U Been Gone” singer’s home and the Montana ranch where Blackstock will be living for the time being.

As for the two Montana properties, Clarkson will be keeping both with Blackstock paying $2,000 a month to stay in one until June when that agreement expires.
Additionally, Clarkson will have to pay Blackstone spousal support each month to the tune of $115,000. Those payments are set to continue through Jan. 31, 2024.

The American Idol alum had already been paying spousal support of $150,000 per month following a court ruling in July 2021 as well as $45,601 per month for child support.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host will get the family pets and multiple cars including a Ford Bronco, a Ford F-250, and a Porsche Cayenne. Curiously, she’ll also get a flight simulator, court documents obtained by The Blast said.

As for Blackstock’s spoils, he’ll receive the former couple’s “farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses.” There were a lot of cars to divvy up and Blackstock will take ownership of a Ford F-350, a Ford F-250, an ATV, and several CAT snowmobiles. Further, he’ll also get to hang onto a pair of luxury Patek Philippe watches and a golf simulator.
As Mamas Uncut reported, Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020 after seven years of marriage.

Then in July of last year, the singer requested to be declared legally divorced, saying that both she and Blackstock “both deserve the opportunity to build a new life.”
Clarkson was declared legally single in August.
