Kevin Federline may be best known for his marriage and the children he had with pop star Britney Spears, but that wasn’t the first time he became a father. But as E! News revealed in a recent article, Federline has opened about his past failures as a parent over the years and how he is making up for those lost times now.
Federline first became a father of a little girl in 2002 but broke up with his pregnant girlfriend at the time before she was born. They later reconnecting and had a second child a son. Months later, he left again and married Spears, with who he proceeded to have two sons with before their marriage came to an end in 2007.

Now, Federline is married to Victoria Prince and together they have two children together making him a father of six. And while his time in the spotlight as Spears’ dancer turned husband may make it difficult to believe, Federline has become quite the family man and loves being a parent.
And as Mamas Uncut reported, he also has primary custody of Sean Preston and Jayden, his sons with Spears. Now, Federline has made amends with the mother of his first two children, Shar Jackson, who only had nice things to say about him as a father, despite their rocky relationship.
Kevin Federline on Being a Father of Six and Loving Every Second of It
“He’s an amazing dad,” Jackson told People. “He’s a great dad, and if you said his name right now, Kori would go crazy. That’s the love of her life.” Kori is their daughter together. “He was there for her every minute of her life until, you know, we weren’t together anymore. He did everything for her, so I guess that’s why.”
It’s unclear what Federline’s relationship with his two oldest kids is like now, but as Federline told Bravo in 2017 being a dad of six is worth every second and he loves his kids dearly. “Having six, it feels like you’re trying to control a basketball team. But it’s worth it. All my kids are great, they get along. By the time you have six, you are so well seasoned. I can probably change a diaper with one hand and feed a kid at the same time.”
And as for him and Prince, they won’t be having more. “I love my kids. My kids are awesome,” Federline told Us in the past. But “I think I got plenty now. I got my hands full.” And we do not doubt it! As it turns out people can change, or as E! News points out, they eventually grow up.
