Kevin Spacey Rushed to Hospital

Kevin Spacey is feeling a little extra grateful and appreciative after suffering a minor health scare earlier this week. The 64-year-old actor attended the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Monday (Oct. 2), but ended up being rushed to the hospital after his left arm went numb.

Spacey returned later that night and gave a speech during the closing ceremony, where he opened up about his recent hospital trip. He explained how he met up with a couple of filmmakers on Sunday (Oct. 1) and spent the day (and night) eating some good food and ultimately ending up at a local bar in Tashkent.

Despite not getting a lot of sleep, Spacey visited a mausoleum the following morning and received a tour of the Afrasiyab Museum – where things took a turn for the worse. “I was looking at these extraordinary murals on the walls, and I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds,” he said.

Thinking it was nothing, Kevin Spacey attempted to shake it off. It wasn’t until he told the people he was with that they suggested he get looked at. Following the advice of his friends, Spacey ‘immediately’ went to the medical center and was then transferred to the Innova Diagnostic Clinic for tests, including an MRI.

“I am, of course, grateful that it’s not anything more serious,” Spacey explained to the crowd. “But it also made me really take a moment and think to myself how fragile life is for all of us, and how important it is that we come together, that we support each other, that we do what we can for the next generation.”

A source close to the situation told the Los Angeles Times that he was ‘taken to a medical center over health concerns’ and was ‘treated professionally by doctors and staff’ for what they suspected to be a heart attack. He was eventually cleared after health professionals found ‘no problem with his heart.’

Spacey described the health scare as ‘unexpected,’ but insisted that his health status was ‘normal’ after his trip to the hospital. It didn’t appear to shake him at all and, instead, instilled a sense of gratitude within him – making him appreciate the little things in life. We’re happy to hear this story has a happy ending.

Kevin Spacey Working on a Hollywood Comeback

Kevin Spacey is in the process of plotting a Hollywood comeback after being acquitted of all nine sexual offense charges brought against him in 2017. The famed actor initially pled not guilty to 12 counts after being accused of sexual assault by more than a dozen people for incidents between 2001 and 2013.

Three of his charges were struck down prior to the start of deliberations and the other nine charges were cleared on July 26 – when Spacey was overcome with emotion as the judge read the jury’s verdict. He not only avoided prison time, but he cleared his name of wrongdoing and can now rebuild his reputation.

Unfortunately, the hits keep coming. Just a few days ago, TMZ reported that Spacey is now being sued by a male massage therapist in New York City. The therapist is claiming that Spacey booked three 90-minute appointments in 2016 at the New York Edition Hotel – where the famed actor was staying at the time.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Kevin Spacey made numerous sexual advances toward the massage therapist – including pressing him for sexual favors in exchange for money. Spacey has yet to respond to the allegations, but one can only assume he’ll fight the accusation like he has done in the past.
