Khadijah Haqq McCray is opening up after being hospitalized for a pre-term labor scare. Khadijah, one of Khloe Kardashian’s best friends, returned home after being admitted to the hospital for overnight evaluation several weeks ago.

“I had a pre-term labor scare a few weeks ago and was hospitalized,” Khadijah wrote on Instagram, giving an update to her fans. “I’m home on bedrest now, feeling good, and so thankful to my doctors.”
The pregnant mom-of-three continued that pregnancy has always “come with a multitude of challenging symptoms and scares. I know I’m not alone, I just know it’s not easy to talk about for so many reasons.”
Khadijah also took a moment to thank her doctors, @drthaisaliabadi – who commented that the mama “definitely win’s 2020’s BEST PATIENT award!!!! – and @drsteverad in the post, as well as her family and friend for their on-going support.
While she’s cooped up at home on bedrest, Khadijah encouraged moms who might be in the same position to be there for one another. To help other moms, she told fans she’s going to be starting “from bed chronicles” on her IG story.
Many moms commented on the post in support of Kadijah and shared their own experiences and scares. “I’m in bed right now,” one wrote. “You are not alone! I am [going] to have twins. Kisses from Brazil!”
“Thank you for sharing this. I know there are so many women going through this and when someone shares their story it just makes you feel like someone understands,” another wrote.
The support has meant a lot to the mama-to-be. “Y’all are making me cry tears of joy. Thank you for all your sweet messages,” she shared in response.
Khadijah first announced she was pregnant with her fourth child with husband Bobby McCray in August. The couple have not yet announced the baby’s due date or gender, but he or she will join siblings Celine, 6, Christian, 10, Bobby, 16.
