Khloe Kardashian Candidly Reveals Her Daughter’s Dislike for Dogs in Latest Episode of The Kardashians

It’s never a dull moment when Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner are together – something fans get to witness every week on Hulu’s The Kardashians, which airs every Thursday. On this week’s episode, we learned two shocking truths – one about Khloe and one about her daughter.

Last year, Khloe Kardashian moved into her new $17 million home, which she built from scratch to her exact needs and sits next to her mother’s mansion in Hidden Hills. In this week’s episode, Kris Jenner wanted to get her daughter a housewarming gift but didn’t know what to get her. 

Jenner was watching The Ellen Degeneres Show and saw Martha Stewart talking about her pet peacocks. Jenner then recalled a time when a peacock used to walk through Khloe’s old property and that’s when it suddenly hit her – a pet peacock would be the perfect gift for Khloe.

There was only one huge problem in Jenner’s plan – Khloe had absolutely no interest in owning a pet peacock. In fact, she’s not a big fan of birds, period. Not only that, but we learned that her daughter, True Thompson, doesn’t even like dogs yet – adding that a peacock wouldn’t help. 

“I have never said I wanted a peacock before. My daughter doesn’t like dogs. I’m working on dogs. Do you think my daughter is going to want a life-sized bird chasing her around? She won’t even be around a puppy. Absolutely not,” said Khloe Kardashian during a candid confessional. 

Khloe explained that she thinks her mother is the one that wants the peacock, she just doesn’t want the peacock roaming around her house – which is why she would rather dump it off with Khloe. I’m sure anyone with a mother would understand where Khloe is coming from, here. 

“You want a peacock. But you don’t really want a peacock, so you’re going to make it be on my property. But when you have a dinner party, you’re going to usher the peacock to your house. I guarantee you,” added Khloe. Nonetheless, the two went peacock shopping on a peacock farm. 

The moment they arrived at the farm, one of the peacocks flew away to a nearby tree. This wasn’t helping Jenner’s case as Khloe only saw it as a sign not to get a peacock. 

“I’m not getting any of these. You were the one that wanted this. I have no idea where this came from. You were just looking for a reason to have Martha Stewart over for lunch. None of this made sense to me at all. I’ve never once talked about a big bird. I don’t like birds in general,” said Khloe.

Alright, the peacock gift didn’t quite go as planned, but Kris Jenner made up for it by inviting Martha Stewart to lunch with her and Khloe Kardashian – who is a humongous fan of Stewart. “I love Martha Stewart, I love entertaining … I also love that Martha’s not a snitch,” said Khloe. 

During their lunch, Khloe opened up about her recent split from Tristan Thompson after the NBA free agent fathered a child with another woman while dating Khloe. When Martha heard the reason why they split, her response was pure gold – “Oh, that’s not nice,” said Stewart. 

The three laughed over her funny, yet true comment. Jenner added, “That is not nice,” while giggling, and Kardashian added, “It was very naughty.” Khloe and Tristan welcomed a second child via surrogacy in August of this year – the baby was conceived in the midst of the scandal.
