Malika Haqq had the mother of all baby showers thrown for her. Haqq is the best friend of Keeping Up With the Kardashian star Khloe Kardashian, who threw the baby shower for her childhood best friend.
Also in attendance was Khloe’s mom and sister, Kris and Kylie Jenner and their famous friends, Stephanie Shepard, Jen Atkin, Lauren London, and Haqq’s twin sister, Khadijah.

The first-time mom, who is expecting a baby boy in little over a month, was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love throughout the event. She told her loved ones that day, “It’s you women that have helped me get through this pregnancy 100 percent.”
“Everything within this room basically knows my journey and how bad I wanted [this baby]. This is the reason why I didn’t want anyone else to speak because I knew I would cry if anyone else said to me what was on their heart.”
Celebrity event planner, Mindy Weiss, planned the event, which was centered around a teddy bear theme. The room was filled with a mix of beige, brown, and nude décor, including thousands of balloons, giant teddy bears, moss bear statues, and bear ears for her guests.

Guests also enjoyed sweets from a cereal bar, a five-tiered bear cake, and sweet tea served in bear-shaped glasses.
Haqq was thrilled with the party, writing on Instagram, “[First] party thrown in my honor and I am truly floored. I couldn’t be happier that my son is the reason for this beautiful occasion. The attention to detail, over soft textures, and use of nudes was a beautiful surprise. I’m still overwhelmed with joy by this dream of a day. Special THANK YOU to my sister, my Khloe Kardashian.”
Khloe also took to Instagram to share a few words about Haqq. She wrote, in part, “I have been planning Malika’s baby shower in my head for quite some time. […] Thanks to everyone who helped put this spectacular shower together!” Khloe’s older sister Kim commented on her post writing, “The most beautiful shower.”

Haqq recently confirmed that her ex-boyfriend, rapper O.T. Genasis, is the father of her unborn child. “I’m incredibly thankful to Odis Flores for my little boy,” Haqq said. Malika announced she was expecting in September but hadn’t shared who the baby’s father is until now.
