Kim Kardashian is finally responding to the many photoshop claims she receives on a weekly basis. The reality star and business mogul took to her Instagram Story to share what is and what is not photoshopped.
While filters and other photo enhancing are normal across social media, photoshopping photos—while also the norm—tends to have a more negative connotation behind it. The Kardashian clan seems to get called out for it most often.
Like Kim’s sister, Khloe said in a recent statement about the criticism she gets on social media, “It sucks but I understand it’s part of the game but some things get so mean and so heavy and it feels like it never gets lighter.” Now Kim is speaking out too.
While on her Instagram Story, Kim shared screenshots of a Daily Mail article and a Page Six article accusing her of photoshopping her bellybutton away. However, Kim claims nothing about her photo is photoshopped, and the only reason that you can’t see her belly button is that her Skims underwear is covering it. She then proceeded to share the “live” picture as evidence.
“Come on guys… Seriously! This is so dumb,” Kim wrote. “Claiming I photoshopped out my belly button? Belly button insecurities? Well, why don’t you head on over to skims.com to conceal that saggy belly button of yours with a great pair of high-waisted underwear like I did! You’re welcome!”

Kim also called out Page Six again for claiming she photoshopped her boyfriend, Pete Davidson’s jawline, in one of the pictures she shared. “I guess Pete’s jawline is snatched!!! Snatched to the point you guys thought I photoshopped it! Wait, I did add a grainy filter though.”
However, Kim ultimately did own up to a photoshop fail. If you can recall, Khloe and Kim were called out when photos of Chicago West and True Thompson showed up on Kim’s Instagram feed. The photos showed them at Disneyland. However, Khloe admitted that True had never been to Disney until her fourth birthday which only happened earlier this month.

“Ok guys, I do have a photoshop confession while we are here in the circle of truth. Ugh, this one needs some serious explaining,” Kim began before explaining that when she posts to her feed, she tends to stick to an aesthetic.
“The original pics were Stormi! However, I asked Kylie if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment so I respect that! But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly,” Kim continued.
“It wasn’t the aesthetic I was going for and I can own up to that! You know how much a good aesthetic man to my soul and I will be damned if Kylie will ruing that for me and mess up my grid. So thank you True for taking one for the team! I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal if her own mom questioned if I snuck her to Disneyland for the first time.”
