Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are already parents to four children: North (6), Saint (3), Chicago (1), and Psalm (3 months). That’s a brood! But we all know that the Kardashians love a big family, so the question on everyone’s mind is: Are Kim and Kanye planning to have a fifth child?
A fan recently asked Kim via Instagram Stories if she and Kanye wanted to have more kids. Kim responded with a fairly direct answer, one that is both super-relatable and also a little surprising.

“Kim, you wanna [sic] more kids,” a fan asked while Kim was hosting an Ask-Me-Anything via Stories.
“I LOVE my babies so much but 4 is all I can handle with how busy I am, and each one of my babies needs so much attention.”
Babies? Needing attention? Shocking information!
But there you have it: At least as of right now, Kim and Kanye are not planning to have more children. And can you really blame them? Even with their wealth and resources — a supportive family, more money than they can count, nannies and other staff — four kids is a lot. Plus, Psalm just arrived in May. Give these parents some time!
Recently, Kim shared the first of all four of her kids together.
Judging from her caption, it was no small feat to wrangle all four kiddos into frame for a single photo.
“I thought taking a pic with three kids was hard OMG this is almost impossible,” she said. Now just imagine trying that with five.
Before Psalm’s birth in May, a source told People Magazine that Kim planned to stop after four children.
“Kim has always wanted four kids. She talks about it all the time,” the source said.
Kim also said as much in a 2018 interview with Elle, stating “I don’t think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.”
It sounds like Kim knows her limits, and that’s a good thing! We wish Kim Kardashian and Kanye West the best of luck with their family, whether it stays this size or grows in the coming years.
