Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Struggling to Remain Civil Amid Divorce and Custody Battle

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are having a hard time remaining civil amid their ongoing divorce and custody battle. In fact, recent police reports paint a violent and toxic picture as they continue to live together in their $2.6 million mansion in Georgia – which has seen its own fair share of controversy

While their relationship has been strained for quite some time, things have grown increasingly volatile over the past two months – ultimately resulting in both parties filing for divorce. Biermann filed his petition on May 5, while Zolciak filed hers on May 7 – both petitions were processed on the same day (May 8).

Just a few days before the divorce filings, the couple were involved in a string of heated exchanges – heated enough that the cops were called to their home on multiple occasions over a several-day period. While no arrests were made and no charges were filed, police did urge them to be civil numerous times.

It all started at around 6:50 p.m. on May 4 (Thursday) when police responded to a call of a dispute at the home of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann. When officers arrived, Kim accused her husband of locking $175,000 worth of jewelry and other possessions inside a safe in the basement of the couple’s home.

In defense, Kroy accused Kim of hitting him in the back of the head during an earlier dispute and claimed to have an audio recording of the incident – though he showed no signs of injury. He also claimed that the items in the safe were considered ‘marital property’ and accused Kim of having a gambling problem.

When officers were leaving, they saw Kim filling her car with purses, handbags, glasses, and other personal belongings to prevent Kroy from stealing them. Officers were called again nearly four hours later when Kroy accused Kim of using his credit card – though it’s unclear if it’s considered ‘marital property.’

That wasn’t the end of the dispute. Kim wound up calling 911 on two other occasions that night – once at around 1:20 a.m. (May 5) and again shortly after. She accused Kroy of barricading himself in the bedroom where she was trying to get her medication – the second call was accusing him of stealing medication.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Enter Custody Battle

While Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann struggle to remain civil inside their home, many people are growing concerned about their children – who are now victims of a very toxic household. It was reported that police were forced to encourage the estranged couple to keep it civil in front of their children. And things are expected to grow worse as they enter a custody battle over their children amid their ongoing divorce.

According to their divorce filings, both parents are requesting primary custody of their four minor children – Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9 – following their split. Kroy also adopted Kim’s two daughters – Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21 – from a previous relationship, but they aren’t considered minors.

Kroy took his demands several steps further in requesting Kim to pay temporary and permanent child support, as well as temporary and permanent alimony. He’s also requesting ‘exclusive, temporary and permanent use and possession’ of the Georgia mansion, as well as having Kim restrained from entering.
