Kourtney Kardashian is Excusing Herself From Family Drama; Shifting Her Focus to Her Marriage to Travis Barker

Anyone who has kept up with The Kardashians lately is well-aware of the feud between sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. Their relationship has been strained for quite some time now – dating back to 2018, but it has only grown worse in recent months – and it appears Kourtney is done.

Towards the end of Thursday’s episode, Kourtney made it known that she doesn’t want anything to do with the family drama and will be focusing her energy on her husband, Travis Barker – the couple announced their pregnancy last month, roughly one year after they got married on May 15 in Las Vegas.

“With my family, I’m like ‘protect my energy,’” she said in a preview of next week’s episode. “And like ‘I’m married! Bye everyone!’ It’s so nice,” she continued. Season 3 of The Kardashians premiered on May 25 and episodes run every Thursday at 12:01 a.m. ET – eclusively on Hulu. Don’t miss out on the drama!

Kourtney’s recent comments come just a few weeks after she questioned her sister’s loyalty and accused her of ‘copying my wedding’ – which was styled by Dolce & Gabbana. Six months after that wedding, Kim directed a fashion show for Dolce & Gabbana that appeared to feature similar elements to the wedding.

“This is definitely not about a brand, it was about my wedding. I didn’t feel truly supported. I think it’s a free-for-all, it’s like, no boundaries and it felt like there’s no decency to ask me how I felt about her doing this so closely to my wedding,” Kourtney Kardashian said in a previous episode. “It’s like the Wild West.”

Kim was confused at why her sister feels so slighted over the campaign – arguing that Kourtney copied her first. Not only did Kim have her wedding in Italy years before Kourtney had hers, but Kim had Andrea Bocelli perform at her wedding – the same Italian singer that performed at Kourtney’s wedding in May.

“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli,” Kim K said in an interview. “Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Are Stronger Than Ever

While Kourtney Kardashian continues her feud with Kim Kardashian, her bond with Travis Barker continues to grow stronger by the day. They shocked the world on June 16 when they announced their pregnancy – she showed up to her husband’s concert with a sign that read, ‘Travis I’m Pregnant.’

More recently, Travis Barker took to his Twitter to praise his wife for helping him overcome his fear of flying – which stemmed from a 2008 plane crash that killed four people (Travis and his friend were the only survivors). His recent post marked the 30th time he had flown in a plane since the tragic crash.

“Just flew for the 30th time since my plane crash. Wouldn’t be able to tour or enjoy life again the way I do without the healing love of my amazing wife. I love you @kourtneykardash,” Barker wrote on Twitter. Kourtney shared the post on her Instagram Story and wrote, “So proud of my husband” in an overlay.

Meanwhile, fans couldn’t help but acknowledge a potential dig at Kourtney from her sister, Kim. Just eight months after Kourtney launched a line of vitamin supplements, Kim is now teaming up with supplement brand Alani Nu with an ‘Alani by Kim K’ collaboration. Kourtney Kardashian has yet to respond to it.
