Kylie Jenner Says She’s Raising Stormi, 3, to Be Her ‘Legacy’

In the May 2021 special edition of tmrw, 23-year-old Kardashian and cosmetics mogul Kylie Jenner explained the positive aspects of 2020 for her. “It’s been such a challenging year but the silver lining was that I had so much more time to spend with my family.”

One of the youngest billionaires in the world, Jenner really got a chance to slow down for the first time in seven years and spent all her time with her 3-year-old daughter Stormi Webster. “Becoming a mom was the biggest change for me. I’ve grown so much as a person and I continue to grow every single day. I love learning and I’m trying to be the best person I can possibly be.”

Kylie Jenner revealed to tmrw that she’s trying to raise her daughter to do great things.

Yet, she still respects that she will take her own path. “Stormi is my legacy. I’m raising her to be smart and kind and driven. Maybe she will take over Kylie Cosmetics one day? Only if she wants to.”

She also told tmrw that she finds her parenting inspiration from those around her:

“Growing up watching my older sisters and my mom was just incredible. Seeing how my mom deals with the balance of motherhood and business, she’s just the most accomplished woman I know. My mom did a really good job of raising us, so I think I really want to pass that on to Stormi, to be strong and independent.”

Kylie Jenner’s success may have been a product of the lessons and hard work her mother taught her, but she is still grateful that she got the opportunity to slow down and appreciate her time with her daughter. “I don’t think I’ve ever had a moment to just stop, be still, and not have work until then. It was a difficult time for so many, I feel very lucky that I could take that time to just be with my daughter.”
