Last week, news broke that Kylie Jenner and rapper Travis Scott, who share 1-year-old daughter Stormi, were taking a (temporary?) break from their relationship. It’s here we should note this kind of language is often Hollywood code for, “We’re breaking up.” Since then, though, people have wondered what the cause of the split could be. Turns out, it might be because Kylie Jenner wants more kids and Travis Scott does not.
People Magazine quotes a source as saying, “Kylie is all about family life and really wants a second baby.”

The source goes on to add that Kylie, 22, is looking to settle down and expand her family while Travis (28), an incredibly popular rapper, wants to prioritize his career right now.
The family vs. career disagreement may just be one of several reasons why the couple is taking a break. People’s source adds: “She still has trust issues with Travis. He hasn’t been giving her the commitment that she needs. Travis isn’t ready to give her all that she wants.”
Though neither Kylie nor Travis has confirmed the breakup as of this writing, it is worth noting that the pair has not been seen in public together in over a month, an unusual occurrence for them.
Travis was notably absent from Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin‘s second wedding ceremony, where Kylie was in attendance with daughter Stormi.
Other outlets are reporting that Kylie is furious with Travis for cheating, a theory which we cannot confirm.
Last week, a rumor also circulated that Kylie met up with her ex Tyga after the breakup. Kylie took to Twitter to say that was false, and to say that she and Travis are on great terms and that their priority is Stormi.
“Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi,” she said. “Our friendship and our daughter is priority”
“The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no ‘2am date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio he happened to be at.”
For now, we will have to wait from answers, either from Kylie or Travis themselves, or from sources-in-the-know. This is the Kardashian family we’re talking about: We’ll get answers eventually, even if we need to wait for the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to start.
In the end, we just hope Kylie and Travis have baby Stormi’s best interest in mind as they figure out their relationship.
