The couple, who “always wanted to be parents,” according to the source, first got engaged in April 2018 before marrying less than a year later in March 2019. It was not long after Lea and Zandy celebrated their one year anniversary that Lea took to Instagram to reveal that she was pregnant.

Aside from a few photos of her and her growing baby bump, Lea and Zandy have remained quiet about her pregnancy. The couple also has yet to share a photo of their son with the public and it is unclear if they ever will.

In an interview with Glamour in 2014, Lea once admitted that she wanted to have a lot of kids, especially because she was an only child. “I’m going to have like a billion of them,” she admitted. “But mainly because I always hated being an only child, I always wished I had more siblings!”

The birth of Lea’s son comes after the actress and singer issued a public apology after she was called out by a former co-star for the way she treated her. In the apology, which still lives on her Instagram page, Lea brought up her future child, saying, “I am a couple of months from becoming a mother and I know I need to keep working to better myself and take responsibility for my actions so that I can be a real role model for my child.”

“So I can pass along my lessons and mistakes so that they can learn from me. I listened to these criticisms and I am learning and while I am very sorry, I will be better in the future form this experience,” Lea concluded.

Congratulations, Lea and Zandy, on your growing family.
