After sharing a photo of herself all dressed up for the first time since welcoming her newborn child into the world, some of Maren Morris‘s followers had something to say about the photo of the country singer all dolled up. And Morris had something to say back.
On July 21, Morris took to her Instagram page to share a photo of herself dressed to the nines after having her makeup done, as well as her hair by her stylist, Marwa Bashir. However, some people couldn’t help but comment on her “mom boobs.”

After captioning the picture, “w a v y,” one commenter described the photo as “distasteful” simply because Morris was sporting cleavage. “Wavy hair as the camera is only on your tits. Yes, it’s distasteful for sure,” the commented retorted.

“Come on, if your caption reads wavy hair maybe keep the focus on the hair, or perhaps make the caption big boobs?” the commenter continued. “Just saying like holy cow. Everything in this world doesn’t make sense anymore, clearly these littles don’t have much to look up to either.”
Morris saw the comment and quickly clapped back with a comment of her own. “Girl BYE! Don’t let my boobs knock you on the way out.” She then took to Twitter to say, “Mom boobs for life. If you’re offended, sign off.”
Before adding, “Sorry I’ve been wearing a nursing bra and sweatpants for 4 months and decided to get dressed up.”
While talking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the country singer told the host that she no longer wants to share images of her baby boy because of all the mom-shaming she’s endured since welcoming Hayes into the world in April.
“I don’t think I’m going to show his face in photos on social media anymore. I’m going to be a little more private about him. It’s been so fun sharing photos of him. […] I can take someone saying my music sucks or I’m ruining country music, but, for some reason, the mother card, I can’t emotionally handle right now. So I’m going to protect myself and him from it.”
