Mickey Guyton Pleads For Prayers From Followers As 9-Month-Old Son Is Sent To ICU

Mickey Guyton urged fans and followers on Thursday night to pray for her 9-month-old son who is in the ICU.

“I normally don’t do this but my son is being sent to the ICU,” Guyton said of her 9-month-old son, Grayson, whom she shares with husband Grant Savoy. “The doctors don’t know what’s wrong. Please, please pray.”

While Guyton did not give any details on her son’s condition or symptoms, many were quick to send thoughts and prayers for her son.

And then later today, Guyton wrote another update, saying: “He’s not in the clear but he’s on the mend,” Guyton wrote via Twitter with a photo of her baby boy and her husband, Grant Savoy. “Thank you for your prayers. I will update y’all as soon as I am able. Thank you thank you thank you for your love and support.”

Back in March, Guyton spoke about being a first-time mom while attending her first GRAMMYs.

“I literally just had a baby 30 days ago, it’s wild,” she told ET. “Having this baby, this beautiful baby boy that I have, has taken a lot of that pressure off of me, I guess. I’ve just been, just so involved in him. That’s all that matters to me right now.”

“So far, I think he’s going to be a very calm, independent child,” she said at the time. “Like he definitely likes his autonomy. He’s really sweet, he likes to eat. I think he’s gonna be tall. He’s really just a sweet, sweet baby.”

The star shared what life looked like with her infant in a May Instagram post.

“I remember first finding out I was pregnant thinking it was going to take FOREVER and it now almost feels like it didn’t even happen,” Guyton shared at the time.

“It’s crazy how time feels like it’s flying faster than the blink of the eye. This little guy has turned my world right side up and I am forever grateful to God and to my husband for making me a mother. Literally nothing else in life compares. Yes, there are extremely challenging moments where I question everything that I am and feel like a complete failure as a mom, but I wouldn’t change a thing.”
