When you’re a parent, there’s really no way to describe the good feeling of watching your child grow up and emulate you. That’s your child! You made him or her! And you can tell! So imagine how model and actress Milla Jovovich felt when her daughter, Ever Gabo Anderson (11), landed her very first magazine cover. If you guessed “beyond proud,” you’d be right.
Ever didn’t just land any magazine cover, either. She landed the cover of the debut American issue of Jalouse, a French magazine that Jovovich herself covered in France in the ’90s! It’s a real family affair!
Jovovich posted an emotional Instagram photo and caption to honor her daughter’s impressive gig:
“I’m so proud of my amazing daughter @evergaboanderson being featured on the premiere cover of the US edition of @jalousmag,” Jovovich’s caption begins. “It’s actually very personal to me because I was on the premiere cover when the magazine came out in France back in the 90’s and now she’s following in my footsteps so many years later!!”
Here’s a look at Jovovich’s Jalouse cover from the ’90s:
Isn’t it incredible how much the two look alike? Beautiful!
“Also, I love her interview,” Jovovich continued in her caption. Such a smart, insightful and caring little girl. And great job shooting and writing the article by the super talented @chrissbrenner and a big thank you to @Prada and @veesback for the amazing looks! I really can’t wait for you all to read the article, it’s out on newsstands in France and America now!”
She also used the “#proudmama” hashtag, so yeah… She is one proud mama, and we can see why!
