When it comes to a little one’s first few months of life, it’s easy for them to become rather attached to their mom. Whether it be breastfeeding or simply because maternity leave for some is often longer than paternity leave, it’s often that a baby because attached to their mother.
And when that happened to one influencer, who is now a new mom, her husband had to get creative when it came to giving their little one a bottle. You see, a few weeks after welcoming their first child into the world, Caitlin Covington had run an errand and left their daughter Kennedy home with dad.
However, while mom was gone, Kennedy needed to be fed, so her husband got creative.
So first, he printed out a gorgeous picture of Covington. Then, he grabbed a bottle of chilled breastmilk from the refrigerator before “dressing the part” by throwing on his wife’s pink robe to really help Kennedy feel like she was being fed by mom.
And with all the confidence he could muster, he put the picture of Covington over his own face and faked it till he made it all work! Now, this is genius…and let’s be honest pretty hilarious! “How to get baby to take a bottle when mommy needs a break,” the mom joked. Her followers loved it as well.
“This is everything,” one person said. “I am freaking DEAD,” another added. “OH MY GOODNESS! This is actually GENIUS my friend. GENIUS!!!”
