What would happen if I called an ambulance?

What would happen if I called an ambulance because I’m in an incredible amount of pain, and it’s just my kids and me?? I’ve been having horrible stomach pain since Monday and don’t have a way to get to the urgent care or er. My husband is always too busy, and I don’t have anyone else that can take me. I just would like info from anyone that might know what happens when a parent needs to go to the hospital in an ambulance, and there is nobody to watch the children. Will they bring the kids with me or find child care for them?? None of the family can watch them cause they’re all at work and don’t want to take off. Where can I find these items for a gender reveal?

Hi!! Did anyone purchase powder cannon tubes, or “smoke bombs” for a gender reveal party?! If so, where did you get them? I found some on Amazon, but the reviews are saying the smoke only lasted 5 seconds, and it was a very light color/hard to see. Also, any other gender reveals ideas that would be appreciated!! Do they make car seats for parents who have limited mobility with their hands?

Do they make car seats for parents who have limited mobility in their hands? I’ve slowly been losing mobility in my hands, particularly my right, but my symptoms are the same for both hands. Pain when lifting things, sudden electrical shock type feeling where my middle finger meets the palm of my hand, numbness in my pinky, ring, and middle finger, and I’m losing the ability to grasp items. I’ve had MRI and nerve tests done, and all have come back normal, so doctors are stumped as to why it’s occurring, and it’s not carpal tunnel as symptoms came on at the same time for both hands. This problem that I’m running into is this is making tightening the straps on both my kid’s car seats painful and difficult. My 5yos car seat has a crank on the side that you turn to tighten the straps and my 2yos car seat has a strap at the bottom you have to grab tight and pull. As much as I’d hate to have to buy two new car seats, unless my Drs can figure out what’s wrong, making sure my babies are strapped in properly is my priority. I have thoughts of leaving my husband because I cannot have kids: Advice?

I am devastated. Me SO and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. I did get pregnant in 2018, but I had a miscarriage while at work. I never told anyone because I didn’t want to break their hearts. And now, after my second miscarriage in November 2019, still didn’t tell anyone because I didn’t even know it until afterward, I feel like a horrible excuse for a woman. He had a hard time sleeping last night and was just talking, and he said, “We’ve been married for three years, and we can’t even have a kid. It’s embarrassing,” and it just broke my heart into a million pieces. I just cried silently. But now I can’t sleep, and I feel like I should just leave him so he can find someone who is able to have babies and make him happy. I pray every day for my rainbow baby, but it feels like it’ll never happen, and he shouldn’t have to go through that. Am I silly for thinking I should leave and allow him to find someone who can get pregnant? Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has …

How was your back pain after getting an epidural for the second time?

I have one son already, and I’m expecting a girl now too. My first pregnancy, I tried my best not to get an epidural, but 6 hours into labor I asked for one and got one. I know every labor is different, but I really don’t want to get a second epidural knowing how it affected my back. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to bear the pain, even somewhat knowing what it’ll be like. I guess my question is for (Mothers who have had two epidurals) what can I expect? How was it afterward in the months prior to getting it again. Back pain is the only thing I’ve had a problem with after having one. Also, what are some MAJOR things that helped during the labor process to “make it easier” up until the baby is ready to come out? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.

I am considering changing my daughters name due to a fall out with my friend: Advice?

My daughter is almost eight months old. We’ve had a really rough start to her first year of life. She’s had four serious surgeries, and now our life is finally starting to settle down with doctors’ visits and whatnot. Before I had my daughter, I had a really close friend who I absolutely adored and trusted. We were friends for over seven years. After I had my daughter, while my daughter was in the NICU, I confided in that friend that I was going through a hard time not only with my daughter being in the hospital but also with postpartum. I thought I could talk to her because she came to me when she had postpartum, and I did everything I could to lift her spirits (calling her every day to tell her I loved her, buying concert tickets, etc.). I was wrong. She told me to get over it and that she was a single mom who had too much on her plate to worry about what I had going on. I was crushed. We are no longer friends because she was completely insensitive and horrible to me in the end. The thing is… my eight-month-old daughter has …

My body will not let me have anymore kids: Has anyone else been through this?

So I’ve had a total of 5 miscarriages and stillborn at 28 weeks, but I do have a living 3 yr old who was born at 30 weeks. I wanted to get my tubes tied to end any future pain, and my husband supported me, so we got it done. My daughter broke my heart, asking for a brother. I broke down crying, telling her I tried but couldn’t. I’m pretty sure she didn’t understand. She does have cousins she’s close to, but they all have siblings, and she knows that. I just don’t know what to do. I thought about another pet for her, but we already have two dogs and fishes in a big tank. Has anyone else gone through this and if so, what did you do? I am unsure on if I should go through with a name change: Thoughts?

I have three kids with my ex. He currently has custody of them because my living situation was not the best at the moment. I have known him for almost 15 years, and throughout those years, there has been plenty of verbal and mental abuse. He has used my current situation against me to get whatever he wants out of me. We talked a while ago about changing our kid’s last names from my maiden name to his name. I was okay with it at first, but now I am second-guessing it. He has done and said a lot to get what he wants since my whole situation has started. And if I try to fight back, he brings up child support. I have no issues paying child support and taking care of my kids. But at the same time, I know the money will not go towards my kids. His wife controls their money. She gets to spend as she pleases, and he would always complain about how he had no money for anything because she would blow through his paychecks. So my worry about paying child support is it not actually going towards my kids. We are supposed …

Tips on keeping my home smelling fresh?

So I’m not a huge clean freak, but I’m nowhere near okay with a dirty home… we have a 1.5-year-old, a dog & a cat.. does anyone have any tips on how to keep a home smelling fresh? The dog is 100% potty trained, and the cat never goes anywhere but the litter box. I have candles and wax melts, typically only use melts or candle warmers bc I’m scared of a flame with the baby, but I still feel so paranoid and anxious coming home, and my house not smelling good or never want someone to stop by. Is this normal has anyone else had this before? And is there any advice to ease the itchiness? Obviously, try not to itch it is one piece of advice, haha! It sits easier said than done. I found out I have an STD and think my husband has had an affair: Thoughts?

Hi ladies. I am really struggling. My husband and I have been together for a while now. We have a six-year-old and a 19-month-old and a 3rd kiddo on the way. We want four children, so we are ecstatic. I went to my first ultrasound and Drs appointment. We are ten weeks today. I got a call from the nurse to tell me my chlamydia came back positive. And I fell to the floor crying. I called my husband to confront him, and he said: “he’s never been with anyone but me.” But we clearly know that is a lie. He will not come forward with the truth, and I am absolutely mad and embarrassed. What do I do now? Dumb question, I know. But it clearly did not come from me. I want to leave, but we have two kids, and I live 70 miles from my family and friends. Help Hi ladies. I am really struggling. My husband and I have been together for a while now. Needing advice on how to handle my manager

I need some advice on how to deal with my manager. I started working again after years of being a stay at home, mom. In the beginning, I absolutely loved the job! We got a new manager a few months back, and he is making it incredibly hard to enjoy work. He non stops talks about himself. If I am speaking with a co-worker, he will come over and just start talking about himself. I have never met someone who thought so highly of himself. I try my hardest just to do my work. He seems to get angry if I don’t pay attention to his stories. He will repeatedly ask me why I don’t listen to him (talk about himself) I tell him I am busy and staying focused on my job. He doesn’t seem to get the hint I am not interested in the small talk. He just makes me feel very uncomfortable. I feel like he constantly has to be near me and follows me around. It’s incredibly hard to avoid him. It has become very draining for me. I don’t want to quit the job because I do love what I do. I don’t know how …

Am I overreacting about this situation with my neighbors son?

Am I overreacting? My daughter is only two, and the neighbor boy across the street is like ten, and every time he sees my daughter outside, he makes moaning noises! During the summer, he always tries sneaking over to our yard to play with my kids 4&2. Well, we put a camera up outside where we view it from our phones since I have an infant, and my oldest two are right at the front door. The most they are ever left where I watch them on my phone is to walk inside the door and grab a bottle of water to make a bottle. But anyway his mom is full-on psycho like every other day the cops and everything are at their house from her threatening to kill herself or whatever so this kid does what he wants until the town cops bring him home Idk how to handle this. How can I deal with a co worker who micro manages everything that I do?

I have been at this job for 2 months now, it’s a little independent hardware store and I love it. Not a serious job, but just something to get out of the house! I enjoy everyone I work with but, there is one lady there that constantly micromanages everything and won’t let me do anything my way. Her way or the highway. She’s not my boss though she is highly respected there, and she really is a hard worker and amazing with customers. I as well do this, but I like to do things a bit. Differently, that’s easier for me. It’s nothing super serious, or I would understand, it’s just little things that drive me absolutely insane. She’s really nice to all the guys there but my other female co-worker and I she just isn’t respectful towards. I feel like I have no say because she’s been here off and on for three years, and well, I’ve been here for two months. I don’t know what to do? I’m scared if I say anything that I’ll just be fired or it won’t matter what I say, and nothing will change. My boss did warm me in my interview that …
