And That Makes Double Digits! Nick Cannon Makes Big Announcement You Probably Saw Coming

Nick Cannon has officially announced he is going to be a dad of 10! On September 30, Cannon took to Instagram to share a video of his latest baby shower.

According to Cannon’s video, he and Brittan Bell are expecting another blessing. This will be their third child together.

Cannon also shared the name they choose for their new child; Rise Messiah Cannon. “Thank you to friends, family and everyone who made this spiritual celebration of life possible,” the proud papa of 10 wrote.

This announcement comes less than a month after welcoming his 9th child in September, less than a month ago, with Lanisha Cole.

And as Mamas Uncut previously reported, Cannon also welcomed his 8th child into the world earlier this summer. Model Bre Tiesi announced the birth of her son on social media as well.

We also reported that Nick Cannon has been making headlines lately due to his constantly expecting family and Ryan Reynolds was not afraid to turn it into a marketing moment.

For some context, Nick is father to twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wife, Mariah Carey; son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen, shared with model Brittany Bell; and a second set of twins named Zion and Zillion with DJ Abby De La Rosa.

Nick also welcomed a baby boy named Zen with model Alyssa Scott last June. However, just five months later in December, Zen tragically died of brain cancer.

And after announcing he would begin a celibacy journey, he revealed that during a period of severe depression in the wake of his son’s death — he broke his short-lived sex ban.

And, in January, Nick confirmed that he and model Bre Tiesi are set to welcome their first child together later this year, marking his eighth arrival.

And now, it seems there is another little baby in the works.

Late last week, DJ Abby De La Rosa announced that she too is pregnant. Abby did not share the identity of the father. But TMZ reported that the baby — rumored to arrive in October — is Nick’s.

Nick has yet to comment on Abby’s pregnancy announcement, however, he did suggest that he’s looking forward to welcoming more than one child by the end of the year.

“Let’s just put it this way … the stork is on the way,” he told the hosts of Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast this week.

Nick also joked about he is back on track to break his personal record of three new arrivals in 2021, hinting: “If you thought it was a lot of kids last year….”

Cannon has been very vocal about his thoughts on monogamy and unprotected sex — and even once admitted how he believes monogamous relationships are unhealthy.

Last month, Nick revealed he had gone in for a vasectomy consultation, urging fans how he was not planning to “populate the Earth completely.”

And so, Ryan recruited Nick to star in a new commercial for Aviation Gin ahead of Father’s Day with a message that was a little on the head.

In the short clip, which was shared on social media on Wednesday, Nick shares with viewers how to concoct a special Father’s Day cocktail, aptly named “The Vasectomy.”

“Lord knows I need one,” Nick joked, before jumping into a tongue-in-cheek cocktail-making demonstration while offering some insight into fatherhood in the process.

First he filled a glass with ice, in the same way “that children fill our lives with so much joy,” Nick goes on to add a shot of cranberry juice, equating its sweetness to his kids’ “little smiles.”

He then goes on to tonic water. “So bubbly, just like I feel every day after I wake up from a long, full night’s sleep,” he says with a grimace before adding some freshly squeezed lemon.

And after topping off the glass with gin and a fruity garnish, Ryan enters the frame and quickly takes the beverage off Nick’s hands.

“I’ll take it from here, Nick. I have three kids,” Ryan says, taking a huge drink from the cocktail.

Nick proceeds to remind Ryan that keeping track of three little ones is nothing compared to his own lively household.

“I have eight,” Nick says curtly, leading Ryan to spit his drink out of his mouth and across the countertop.
