Are ice baths safe while pregnant?

First, I am 7 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I would ask on my local mom’s group, but we are still keeping it a secret for now. I have tried looking online but can not find any information. Is it safe to take an Ice bath while pregnant? The only thing I am finding is not to take a hot bath, and to stay away from saunas, etc. Nothing on an ice bath. Extremely sore from a 1/2 marathon and want to soak in an ice bath. Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.

Are hot tubs dangerous for pregnant women?

I want someone’s opinion. I have a question. So my mom and grandma told me that it’s actually healthy for a pregnant woman to sit in a hot tub and that it won’t harm the baby. ( I love taking semi-hot baths when I can) and I can sit in a hot tub for hours if someone lets me, but I need to know from other people’s experiences if it’s actually healthy for me to be in a hot tub. I read online that it can be super dangerous even if you sit in there for 10 minutes. I just want your opinion on it. Mhy water broke and I was sent home: Has this happened to anyone else?

Basically, I am 34+5 weeks pregnant. Early hours Tuesday morning, my waters broke. I was kept in the hospital overnight, on antibiotics. Has two steroids in injections for baby’s lungs if she does decide to make an appearance… Anyways I always believed they couldn’t let the baby stay inside you after 48hrs of waters going due to infections that may occur… Anyways they sent me home last night with antibiotics’ no follow up an appointment!! Nothing!! Just basically, mother instinct knows best and to go back if I am worried about the baby, but I am worried sick Has anyone else experienced this??? When I had a scan yesterday, I have 1.5cm of fluid left around the baby, but the lady who scanned me said I should have at least between 2 & 8cm? I am just so worried, and dunno who to listen to as every doctor I spoke to told me someone different Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.

I’m pregnant and tested positive for alcohol even though I haven’t drank in months: Advice?

So I’m pregnant with my first, so I’m doing everything I can to make sure my baby comes out healthy! But this morning I got a call from my doctor saying that the results from my drug test came back positive for alcohol. They also told me I have a yeast infection, which I’ve heard can cause false positives for alcohol? I haven’t touched a single drop of alcohol since I found out I was pregnant ( about four months ago ) so I was and still am extremely confused as to why it came back positive?? I’m stressing about it now because I don’t need that on my record because it is FALSE. I’m going to ask that they re test me at my next appointment. Has anyone had something like this happen??
