Has anyone dealt with postpartum pre-eclampsia?

Has anyone dealt with postpartum preeclampsia? Mine was so severe I had to be hospitalized four days again after being sent home with my newborn daughter. My blood pressure is still all over the place despite being on two medications. I’m worried because it has been almost four months and not much has changed. I’d love to hear other experiences with postpartum preeclampsia and tips! Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.

I couldn’t eat after giving birth: Is that normal??

When I had my baby, I couldn’t eat or drink anything for days after giving birth even though I was shaking and starving. I had to force myself just to take a drink or have a bite of food. I have major hair loss after having my daughter: Advice?

After having my daughter, I lost a ton of hair. I’m talking bald spots! Well, when it grew back, it was curly. My hair is really long, so half of its straight and the top half is crazy curly. I have to straighten it just to look normal. My hair is really long and I really REALLY don’t wanna cut it. Has anybody else had the same problem? Please post. I am worried about being intimate after giving birth: Advice?

Did anyone else worry about having sex for the first time after having their babies? After I had my baby, I got the rod put back in, so I’m protected. I had it in the back after I had my first, and it worked the full three years till I had it taken out and fell pregnant. And even though I know it works, I’m so worried about falling pregnant again.. I’m 100% set on having no more kids. I even told my partner if I did happen to fall pregnant, I wouldn’t keep it. But I wanna avoid that scenario.. how did you all overcome the paranoia? TIA. Has anyone had a hysterectomy before 30?

Has anyone had a hysterectomy before age 30? I cant this anymore; I’m seriously going insane. I had my 2nd c-section on September 17. The postpartum bleeding was intense. I had my IUD placed at my six-week p.p. visit. There was so much blood. Still, the doctor had to shut down the exam room to be cleaned. October 21, I started my first period since being pregnant. It’s still going. I’m changing super plus absorbency tampons every 3 hours. And I’m still leaking into overnight pads. The doc started me on a hormone to try and ease them, and it’s not working. I have to kids, and frankly, I’m 90% sure I want a hysterectomy. Curious to hear your thoughts and feedback, has anyone had a hysterectomy before age 30? Questions regarding c-section scar: Please help!

I have a question, I HAVE ALREADY REACHED OUT TO MY OBGYN, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar, I’m 4wks post my 5th section, I had a tubal as well. Out of the blue, one side of my section is so tender, I can’t cough cuz it hurts just like if I just had my section done, I can’t lay on that side at all, and I’m also getting a prickly sensation there as well. I’ve never had any of these symptoms, so I’m stumped. Has anyone felt like this? Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.

I gained weight while pregnant and am insecure: Advice?

This is going to seem like an odd question, but I’m pregnant with my second baby right now. I’m 5’3 and about 155-160 pounds. When I was pregnant with my son, I weighed about 125-130 so. I started showing pretty quickly, and my bump was super cute. After having my son, I have a bit of a “mom tummy.” So I already have a little pudge there, and I’m just worried and insecure about how it may look with my bump this time. (Like me looking a lot bigger than before) I plan to lose all my baby weight after this baby, and I’ve gained no weight so far (I’m only 12 weeks). Dr. Doesn’t seem concerned about me being overweight. I guess I could just use some reassurance that me being insecure is normal, and I’m not alone.
