Princess Eugenie Shares Prince Philip’s Sweet Wedding Gift

Princess Eugenie is opening up about a sweet moment involving her grandfather, Prince Philip.

The 31-year-old royal revealed how Phillip gifted her a painting of a bunch of flowers and how she loves having it in her home.

The princess recently spoke of the Duke of Edinburgh’s artistic skills in the BBC One documentary Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers, sharing how he gifted her a painting of a bunch of flowers as a wedding present.

“It was so nice, it’s now sitting in my house in London and I’m so proud of it, you know?” she said, according to Hello! magazine.

Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, has birthed her first child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and while we have yet to hear a name, the little one will for sure have a Royal title.

This is the second child for Edoardo, who shares five-year-old son Wolfie with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang.

And while the couple’s children will have titles, did you know that Princess Eugenie‘s little one will not have a title?

As titles are always passed down from the father’s side of the family, and as Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank does not have a title, their son also does not have a Royal one.

Edoardo’s official title is Count because his family was part of the Italian nobility before the country became a republic back in 1946. And while they do not use their titles in everyday life, his family retains them.

That being said, the couple’s baby will be given the title of Nobile Donna (Noble Woman). Eugenie recently posted a sweet message for her sister’s newborn, saying:

“To my dearest Beabea and Edo⁣, Congratulations on your new angel. I can’t wait to meet her and I’m so proud of you. We’re going to have so much fun watching our children grow up. Love, Euge. To my new niece, I love you already and think you’re just awesome from the photos.. we’re going to have so much fun ⁣together. Love your Auntie Euge.”

The only way this would change, as if the Queen herself oversees a change.
