Priscilla Presley Supports Twin Granddaughters, Harper and Finley Lockwood, at Middle School Graduation

Priscilla Presley was seen supporting her twin granddaughters, Harper and Finley Lockwood, at their middle school graduation. They were also supported by their father, Michael Lockwood, who reportedly has a good relationship with Priscilla – they have both played a major role in the twins’ upbringing.

As photos of the twins circled around the internet, many people couldn’t help but point out how much Finley resembled her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, and grandfather, Elvis Presley. She was wearing cargo jeans with a black oversized zipper hoodie, while Harper wore a white dress with white overcoat.

Priscilla Presley followed suit with the white-black look – choosing to wear black pants with black heeled boots, a white undershirt, a white leather jacket with black accents, and a black purse. It appears the family was in high spirits during the event, considering what they’ve gone through these past few months.

The graduation comes just four months after the passing of Lisa Marie Presley, who gave birth to the twin girls on October 7, 2008 – while she was still married to Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie, the only daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, died in the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest earlier that day.

Her death sparked a long family dispute over who should have control of her trust – it used to be Priscilla, but a 2016 amendment replaced her with her daughter, Riley Keough. A few days after Lisa Marie’s memorial service, Priscilla filed a petition that questioned the authenticity and validity of the amendment.

That matter was recently settled in court, ending a months-long battle and restoring peace in the family as they continue to mourn the loss of Lisa Marie. It was reported that Riley will remain as the primary trustee moving forward, while the twins, Harper and Finley Lockwood, are listed as beneficiaries to the trust.

Meanwhile, Priscilla Presley walked away from the settlement with several million dollars – but it was reported that she didn’t walk away with everything she asked for. The 77-year-old allegedly asked to be buried alongside her ex-husband, Elvis Presley, when she dies, but that request was immediately denied.

Priscilla Presley Speaks Out After Settlement Reached

After the recent court hearing commenced, Priscilla Presley released a written statement regarding the family dispute – which began in January 2023. In the statement, she confirms that her family has ‘resolved all confusion’ regarding her ‘plea to the court’ – emphasizing that it was a plea, not a lawsuit.

“I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against [Riley Keough]. As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together. My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together,” she wrote in the statement.

She went on to say that the ‘Presley family is stronger than ever,’ while representatives for Riley Keough confirmed that both sides are ‘very content’ with the settlement. It follows months of not seeing eye-to-eye and several reports of a strained relationship between the two – though Priscilla doesn’t see it that way.
