Psychic Told Police Officer He Would Find Missing Teen by Morning, And That’s Exactly What Happened

On January 13, 17-year-old Haylee Martin was reported missing in Kentucky. For days, local police officers search for the teen. But when their searches kept coming up empty, they turned to a psychic.

As Franklin County Sheriff Chris Quire told The State Journal, despite being skeptical, they “did not want to leave any stone unturned.”

According to Fox News, Sheriff Quire asked the psychic if he would find the girl the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department had been looking for. He also asked if they could aid in their investigation.

Sheriff’s Says After Consulting a Psychic, They Found Missing Teen Like They Were Told

The psychic told Quire that they had a premonition telling them he would find Martin safe the next day, and to much surprise, they were right. Quire told The State Journal, “It’s hard to believe, but most (of the psychics) agreed that we would find Haylee in a neighboring county by morning. And we did.”

Just hours after consulting with the psychics, Martin was found in Scott County with a 21-year-old woman while they were attempting to break into the 21-year-old’s boyfriend’s home. After local police learned Martin was one of the people they were holding, they notified Franklin County right away.

According to The State Journal, Martin was then transferred back to Franklin County where she would eventually be placed into foster care. The decision to do so was made after she told authorities that “if she went home she would just run away again,” Quire said.

As Quire revealed it was Martin’s father who reported his teen daughter missing during the early morning hours of January 13. While he will not be facing any charges, the adults Martin was found with may. It’s unclear how long Martin will remain in foster care.

“There were two or three adults who helped her hide for the last week or so,” Quire told The State Journal. “We are just glad she was found and is safe.”
