Rachel McAdams is preparing to welcome baby number 2 into the fold!
The actress along with her boyfriend, Jamie Linden, is expecting their second child together. And while the couple has not spoken on the subject despite McAdams being photographed out in Los Angeles debuting her baby bump this week.
Back in April of 2018, the couple welcomed a baby boy whose name has yet to be publicly shared.
The star, who is known for being very private about her personal life, has in the past made an offhand comment about what it is like to be a mom.
Months after welcoming her first child, the actress revealed to The Sunday Times that becoming a mom was the “greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down.”
“[People say] your life is not your own anymore,” McAdams shared.
“But I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person. I waited a long time [for motherhood].”
During the coronavirus pandemic, McAdams has been able to spend even more time with her son.

“He’s so entertaining!” she said in an April interview.
“I thought about, ‘Would I rather be alone in quarantine? Or with my family?’ You know, there are days sure, but I mean I would be so bored without him around to make it so fun.”
McAdams shared how she’s keeping him busy. “We live sort of out in the country, there is a little farm down the road, so we can go to it and look at the animals,” McAdams described. “We’ve been doing some planting, some okra… Well, I mean, I do the planting and he snacks most of the day.”
