Ray Liotta’s Only Child Speaks Out for the First Time Since Her Father’s Unexpected Passing: ‘You Are the Best Dad’

Several days after her father’s unexpected passing, Karsen Liotta is speaking out for the first time. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, legendary actor Ray Liotta passed away at 67 years old.

Liotta was on location shooting a movie in the Dominican Republic when he passed away in his sleep. Reports revealed that he was with his fiancée of nearly two years, Jacy Nittolo. The couple got engaged over Christmas 2020.

One look at Liotta’s Instagram page it was inevitably very clear, that family was most important to the actor. But nothing was more important than being a father to his daughter, Karsen.

Karsen is 23 years old and following in her father’s footsteps as an actress. She recently took to Instagram to share a brief statement following her father’s passing.

Ray Liotta’s Only Child Speaks Out for the First Time Since Her Father’s Unexpected Passing: ‘You Are the Best Dad’

Alongside a photo of Karsen and Ray when Karsen was just a little girl, she wrote, “Those who knew him, loved him. You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything.”

Several people took to the comments section to offer their condolences to Karsen. Ryan Dorsey, who shared a child with the late Naya Rivera, is included in that list.

“Thinking of you sweet angel,” another commenter added. “Sending you and your family all my love.”

Both of their social media accounts have revealed the father-daughter duo were two pease in a pod. The father and daughter have worked opposite of each other several times in the past.

Karsen is best known for her roles in Hubie Halloween, Prettyface, and Shades of Blue, in which her father stared alongside Jennifer Lopez. Karsen played Anna Kate Wozniak in four episodes of the successful series.

On his Instagram page, Ray often humbly bragged about his little girl, sharing several photos of them in scenes together or on the red carpet.

“My beautiful daughter and I

in People Magazine – ‘Ray Liotta: What I Know Now,’” Liotta wrote, captioning the photo.

“Hard to believe that my baby girl just graduated high school. Why can’t they stay this way,” Liotta lamented in 2017.

Karsen also dabbled in modeling, and Liotta couldn’t have been more proud of his hardworking girl. “My daughter and @officialslystallone‘s in @vanityfair. Talk about a proud Papa!!! (My daughter Karsen is on the right).”

She has also accompanied her father to many an award show!

“My daughter and I just before we left for the #SAGAwards last year. Her career is really starting to take off and she’s not even out of high school yet,” Liotta wrote proudly. “I won’t go all Dad on you, but I’m very proud of her. Our jobs as parents aside from loving them to death is to get them ready to go out in the world with confidence. I can say I succeeded. If this was paper you’d see a tear drop.”

Initial reports said authorities do not expect foul play. However, his official cause of death has not been revealed. Our prayers are with her during this difficult time.
