Ree And Alex Drummond Give Update On Ladd And Caleb Following Serious Accident On Ranch

Ree Drummond‘s husband Ladd and nephew Caleb are thankfully doing better following a serious accident on the ranch.

In early March, the two men had been putting out a wildfire when their trucks collided and both of them were seriously injured.

But while Caleb was taken away in an ambulance, Ladd refused medical attention and drove himself to the hospital in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Ree later shared that Caleb broke some ribs, had a pretty bad concussion, and endured a few other injuries. Ladd broke his neck in two places and had surgery to stabilize one of the fractures, while the other will mend over time with the help of a neck brace.

“Rather than wish the accident didn’t happen, I’m gonna live in a state of gratitude—not just for the guys being okay, but also for the love, kindness, and prayers of so many of you,” Ree told her readers at the time.
