This isn’t a tease, rapper Nicki Minaj is officially a mom! As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Minaj officially confirmed the news of her pregnancy in July after teasing her fans about it for months.
Several months ago, when confirming the pregnancy, Minaj shared a handful of photos from her paternity shoot. “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage,” Minaj said of her pregnancy. “Overflowing with excitement and gratitude. Thank you all for the well-wishes.”

When it comes to her pregnancy, Minaj has been fairly private about it. However, we’re sure the rapper’s mother is ecstatic to finally meet her grandson and granddaughter after she publicly revealed how ready she is to be a grandmother.
Carol Maraj once told The Shade Room that she’s anxiously awaiting the day her daughter tells her she’s pregnant. “I’m very happy that she got married. Her biological clock is ticking and it’s about time she got married and gave me some grandchildren. So I’m very happy.”
However, since confirming she was pregnant, Minaj has been silent on her social media platforms. And it was a source who confirmed the fact that she gave birth, not the rapper herself.
According to TMZ, who talked with the source, Nicki gave birth on Wednesday, September 30, in Los Angeles. However, what the source didn’t confirm is the child’s name or if they welcomed a baby boy or a baby girl.
Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty married in October 2019, which means they will celebrate their one-year anniversary as a family of three. Kenneth and Minaj have known each other and were friends since childhood.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, because Kenneth is on probation and a registered sex offender, he needed to get special permission from a judge to be present at his child’s birth if Nicki went into labor past his curfew. According to the source, Kenneth was present to see his child born.
