Mom Who Drowned Her Infant Twins Sends Scathing Letter to Ex-Husband and Ex-Mother-in-Law Blaming Them for Her Children’s Deaths

Last December, a family made headlines after the mom, Samantha Ford, drowned her 23-month-old twins in the bathtub. Now, Samantha has released a letter blaming her former mother-in-law and ex-husband for the deaths.

Samantha, who was sentenced to 10 years in confinement for the murders, wrote a “cryptic” letter to her ex-mother-in-law.

Her ex-husband, Steven, told Kent Online, that he is “talking to police and the unit to see if we can prevent this from happening again. My mum is absolutely distraught by this. It’s made her ill. She’s been crying all day.”

Steven has not released the letter, but he shared that the “letter is her blaming me for the death of my children. Blaming my mum for not supporting her and she calls me a sicko and says my behavior is disgusting.”

Samantha maintained that she was innocent of murder during the trial, though she did plead guilty to manslaughter. Police and investigators allege that she killed her children after being enraged by the divorce and being forced to move back to the UK from an “affluent” home in Qatar.

She told police at the time of her arrest, “I’ve killed my babies. I have had a breakdown. I would never hurt them…they are my miracle babies. It’s all a dream.”

Steven had posted a moving poem last Father’s Day about the death of his children. “I miss you both so much, it hurts me so bad / I wish I could turn back time, to when I was Dad,” he wrote.
