Several Daycare Workers Fired and Charged With Felonies After Disturbing Video Gets Shared on Social Media
As Inside Edition reports, the arrests come after a video began circulating social media. The video shows students at Lil’ Blessings Daycare and Learning Center in Hamilton.
As the video continues, the tiny children can be seen screaming and horrified as the people hired to care for them terrorized them while wearing “Scream” masks.
You can watch the video below, warning, some may find the contents disturbing:
As the kids cowered in fear, the workers screamed at them, “Are you being bad? Do I need to take you outside?” The daycare as a whole has since been shut down.
According to Inside Edition, a mother of one of the traumatized children, Jessie Reeves, says her 3-year-old daughter is still dealing with the effects of what happened to her. Reeves told Inside Edition that her daughter keeps drawing pictures of the “monster.”
“And she says, ‘This is a mask, momma. This is a monster.’”
The mom of the 2-year-old chased around the classroom by the worker wearing the mask says, “There’s no excuse for it.”
Now at least one of the daycare workers feels remorse for her actions. According to Inside Edition, the worker has since posted a “tearful apology,” saying, “If I could take it back, I would.”
Only the mug shots of the daycare workers have been shared with the public.
