Sharon Osbourne, host and wife of rock star Ozzy Osbourne, is sharing an update with their fans after he underwent life-altering surgery. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, while hosting the UK’s The Talk, Sharon Osbourne revealed that Ozzy Osbourne would be undergoing an operation that would determine the rest of his life.
It is well known that Ozzy has dealt with a slew of health issues over the year. From being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 to an ATV accident that left 15 screws in his back, the vocalist has been through a lot over the last several years.

Now 84, it was shared that Osbourne would be having surgery on his spine yet again. As Mamas Uncut reported, following the ATV accident, Ozzy later had a fall that would break some of the screws that were in his back.
According to a source, Page Six reports that the surgery was to put more pins in his back and neck in order to realign them as a result of his fall in 2019.
In an update shared by Sharon on Twitter, she revealed that Ozzy’s surgery is now complete and he is recovering.

“Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him.”
Ozzy’s surgery comes on the heals of his daughter Kelly announcing that she is expecting a little one. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic,” the mom-to-be wrote on Instagram.
In May she also announced that she was one-year sober as well. “If you would have told me 365 days ago that I would be sober, happy, and about to be a mumma I would have laughed in your face. Life is truly amazing when you do the work.”
It’s been a rough start to the year for the Osbourne family as Ozzy also battled COVID-19, a diagnosis that scared his family to their core. Luckily, it seems things are turning around in the second half.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are also set to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in July. While she remains hopeful, Sharon said the outcome of the next couple of weeks will determine if the couple will be able to do something special to celebrate the major marriage milestone.
“I don’t know yet,” Sharon said when talking about their potential anniversary celebration. “Depends on everything, but I’ll see.”
