Shawn Johnson East is struggling with breastfeeding.
Johnson East, 29, recently posted in an Instagram Story (which featured 4-week-old son, Jett James), asking her followers: “When does breastfeeding get easier? it’s HARD!”
“There’s always one feed a day where he seems super hungry and gives all the cues but screams bloody murder when i try to feed him,” she shared, captioning a photo with her baby boy and a pacifier in his mouth. “it makes me so sad. Anyone else?”
Johnson East shares Jett and daughter Drew Hazel, 21 months, with husband Andrew East.
Previously, Johnson East has been open about her nursing experience. Back in August, Johnson East admitted that she “cried happy tears” when her newborn son was able to nurse, unlike her first child.
When asking for breastfeeding tips for her baby, Johnson East revealed how Drew was “such a struggle” when it came to nursing, which “ultimately ended with me being an exclusive pumper for 6+ months.”

“This dude is completely different!” she added of her baby boy. “So! Need all the tips, tricks, trade secrets! Like how DO I KEEP HIM AWAKE?”
Johnson East and her husband welcomed Jett on July 19. At the time, they shared the following statement: “We are so happy to welcome our little man into the world. We are loving life as a family of four and soaking up every minute.”
Johnson also posted the new photos to her Instagram stories, as well as attached a new Youtube video to the family’s channel capturing the moments leading up to their son’s birth.

In the clip, viewers can see the couple’s sweet first moments with their little boy, who entered the world at a whopping 9 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long.
“We cannot wait to officially introduce him to you,” a caption at the end reads. “We are absolutely in love with our little man,” Johnson recently shared with E! News.
The pair also posted the good news to their Teddy & Bear Instagram page. “We’re so excited to announce a new friend is here!” their message, posted on July 20, read. “Mom and baby are doing well and we can’t wait to meet our new friend!”
