Shemar Moore and His Girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, Announce They’re Expecting a Baby With Awesome Gender Reveal Party

Shemar Moore might be turning 53 years old in a few months, but he’s not letting that stop him from starting a family with his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon. The couple recently announced they’re expecting their first child together and celebrated the announcement with a unique and exciting gender reveal party.

Moore, known for his role as Sergeant II Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson on S.W.A.T., shared the news in a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. He also shouted out his mother, who passed away three years ago on February 8th – adding that he’ll finally be making one of her dreams come true.

“My mother is in heaven right now, it’ll be her three-year anniversary on February 8th. And on February 8th, I’m going to make one of her dreams come true. Because in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy!” he told Hudson and her audience – both of which erupted in excitement, applause, and cheers.

Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon started dating sometime after he split ways with Anabelle Acosta. Not much is known about the origin of Moore’s relationship with Dizon, but the 39-year-old model/actress has had several roles in Hollywood – including Hawaii Five-0, CSI:NY, True Blood, Solver, and several more.

As for Moore, he has enjoyed quite an illustrious acting career over the past 30 years – including roles in The Young and the Restless, Criminal Minds, S.W.A.T., and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. In addition to Acosta, Moore has previously dated Halle Berry, Toni Braxton, and Shawna Gordon – before meeting Dizon.

“I’m so excited. I’m sorry she can’t be here. I was worried for a while that it was a ‘that ship has sailed’ kind of thing, but God had my back and things lined up. It’s gonna be the best part of my life,” said Moore. The soon-to-be father added that he’ll be able to go to heaven whole after going through this experience.

It’s an experience he has gotten a taste of over the past few years – Dizon has two children, a son, and a daughter, from two previous relationships. While Moore enjoys his current role with her children, he’s happy that he’ll finally get to wear the title of ‘father’ and will be making his mother proud in the process.

Shemar Moore Shares Video of Unique Gender Reveal Party

Shemar Moore is no stranger to the cinematics – having seen it all during his time on the sets of Criminal Minds and S.W.A.T. That’s why it’s no surprise to see him and his girlfriend do the most with their gender reveal party – which featured friends, family, a helicopter, a trail of colored smoke, and two happy parents.

“Today is the day. Your boy got butterflies. You know this is a special day. This is a legendary day. Today, your boy Shemar Moore is about to find out if he’s going to be a daddy to a little girl or a little boy,” he said at the top of the video. “Mama I did it. Mama’s in heaven. I miss her so much. I wish she was here.”

He goes on to reveal the potential names of his little boy – Legend – or his little girl – Frankie. Shortly after, a helicopter flew over the actor’s home before releasing a trail of pink smoke – IT’S GOING TO BE A BABY GIRL! According to what Dizon said in the video, it might not be the couple’s last child, either.

“I am excited. I am anxious. I would love a boy because my boy is easy and I could have 10 of him. But I kind of want a girl because then we can have one more. Because if I have a boy, we’re one and done, and that’s not okay with me,” said Dizon – adding all she really hopes is that her baby is happy and healthy.
