According to newly released court documents, the 6-year-old sister of Oakley Carlson informed investigators during an interview the missing 5-year-old Washington girl “was eaten by wolves.”
Oakley was last seen alive in early February according to KCPQ who cited the documents.

Oakley was reported missing by a “concerned citizen” earlier this month. This prompted police to conduct a welfare check at their Oakville home, where the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office then arrested Oakley’s parents, 32-year-old Jordan Bowers and 36-year-old Andrew Carlson.
Initially, deputies took them into custody on obstruction charges after they allegedly refused to cooperate with investigators.
They have since been preliminarily charged with second-degree abandonment in connection to an incident involving another one of their children.
Neither has entered a plea to the charges against them.

Police stated the parents were unable to account for Oakley’s whereabouts and also did not give any reasonable explanation for where she might be.
Authorities say the circumstances surrounding the young girl’s disappearance are suspicious and believe that Oakley is likely in grave danger.
According to the outlet, the concerned citizen was Oakley’s school principal.
The court documents allege that, during a sleepover with her child, the principal overheard Oakley’s sister saying, “Oakley is no more” and “there is no Oakley.”
In a forensic interview, later on, the girl informed detectives “her mother, Jordan, had told her not to talk about Oakley” and that “she had gone out into the woods and had been eaten by wolves,” per court documents.
Oakley’s grandparents, Carlson’s parents, issued a statement to KCPQ.
“The Carlson family have been and continue to be fully cooperating with this investigation,” it reads.
“Our only objective is to find our granddaughter Oakley. We’re praying that Oakley will be found soon and also for the multitude of good people working around the clock to make that happen. We ask that the media respect our privacy during this very difficult time and we do not wish to make any further statements for now. Thank you.”
